Not been out in bike for a while, naughty me, hope to get some miles in tomorrow. But on another note I did walk about 3 miles yesterday to my sons, then was on feet all day helping him move, so loading and unloading a van should have burnt some calories x

I'm afraid it was a lazy weekend for me - I didn't train at all, which leaves me with quite a deficit for the next couple of weeks to try and hit my goal! I'm about to do a run and some PT this morning to crack on with this week though. I'll be reporting back later!
 
Still plenty of time to make it up, Erryn! We're only halfway through the month. You can do it. :)

7.23 miles for me today. I'm roughly where I should be for my goal, but worried about this weekend, as I'm visiting my in-laws and that's usually rather sedentary. I'll just have to escape for a couple of hours and take a walk on my own!

Oh I know GSP - BUT, in order to make the goal, I had to burn 1000 calories a day. As it now stands, I'll need to burn 1300 a day - it is doable but it means no rest days for the next 15 days. We'll see! Is your goal a walking one? If so, that's a pretty awesome target - well done so far.

I managed 1400 today anyway. :)

I used to do looooads of walking as I wasn't allowed to do any other form of exercise and it was great... but it stopped working so I had to up the tempo. I still do around 30km a week but it's not my main form of exercise anymore. Boo!

So yesterday (Tuesday the 16th) I only burnt 600 calories.

I am most definitely late to the September challenge, but I'd like to join in anyway if that's ok?
I recently left slimming world in favour for something that has worked for me before: diet and exercise

Today I burnt 986cals doing an outside jog & body pump, I'm going to aim for a total of 10,000 cals by the end of the month
= 9014 left!

Welcome aboard! 10,000 calories is a bit more realistic than the 17,000 (odd) that I still have to go! Still, it really does seem to be bearing fruit so I'll keep it going - although I'll probably reduce it to 6000 calories a week as of October.
