Doubt very much I will reach my exercise target. My dad is in hospital so my time at the moment is spent there..

Update: 2 more classes. With the cycling I've committed to an hour a day on the stat bike now. Started 4 days ago and doing about 22K each time ~ 13.6miles. So adding 54.4miles :D yay!!

Oh Sookie, I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better soon. :( I don't know if it helps or not, but when I went through a really rough patch in my past, I actually found that exercise helped me deal with it a lot better. I used to walk for hours, as fast as I could and it helped no end. I'm now fitter so I run and it only takes me half an hour to 40 minutes to do my 5km. Even just a few minutes could really help you get some headspace. I was talking to my trainer the other day and mentioned that when one of my good friends died, rather than eating my way through it, I jumped on the treadmill. I must have looked ridiculous, running and crying at the same time but it really did help. Big, big hugs to you.

AFM, yesterday (Saturday) was supposed to be a rest day so I just went for a walk and only burnt 500 calories.

I used to do looooads of walking as I wasn't allowed to do any other form of exercise and it was great... but it stopped working so I had to up the tempo. I still do around 30km a week but it's not my main form of exercise anymore. Boo!
I do weightlifting as well. Lost nearly 40 lbs doing just walking, then had to add more activity in! Might add weightlifting to my challenge next month to make sure I do it more often. :)

Your a star.. I really want to get back out there on my bike, but I'm struggling at the moment to even do housework. I'm
Out the house around 11 and not home till 8.. So everything is put on hold.. Food this week has been a total joke along with the wine.. But kick up butt given to myself and healthy eating to resume Monday... X

6.72 miles for the last day of the month. Didn't quite hit my goal, but I came close!

Need to check how many calories I burnt. I've had a stinking cold for the best part of two weeks so was unable to finish with 1000 calories a day. I did get under 10,000 left, so I'm happy with that as a whole. :) I'm now starting the October challenge! 6 weeks today until I head off to Australia, so I'm starting a new '1000 calorie a day' challenge. I'll make sure I have a rest day once a week though.
