I have just tried that for the first time, I always use 1% milk when I can get hold of it anyway but that is great to have in the cupboard - doesn't taste UHTy either

OMG you HAVE to try the 2% yogurt!! It's so creamy and delicious, tastes like full fat Greek yogurt! And the best part is that they're only half a syn each! Judging by the taste I would have thought it would be much higher in syns! Delicious creamy yogurt for half a syn, can't beat that. Seriously you need it in your life it'll transform your yogurt eating experience! It's just not "diety" Tasting at all. I mix it with fruit, top a meringue with it, It's great in curries, doesn't split like 0% does.

bloody hell and here am I thinking that 0% is delicious! I will have to try it on saturday because I am taking meringue nests with total and strawberries to a friends for dessert
Keep checking - or send them an email - they might just stretch to you if you let them know you are wanting them to!
I find the Customer Service amazing.....10/10 for me!

EB you're right, the soup mix is free only on EE and green.
I got two bottles of wine in my first online order
Emsie I use the soup mix for this recipe mainly
Chicken vegetable & lentil soup
Serves 4 - free on EE
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
2 carrots
2 sticks celery
1 butternut squash
2 small potatoes peeled

4 large chicken thighs
Oil spray
2 chicken stock cubes dissolved in 1 litre boiling water
Salt & pepper
Fresh thyme sprigs
1 bay leaf
The soup mix is just a mix of pearl barley, green split peas, haricot beans, marrowfat peas, red split lentils, yellow split peas and brown rice. It's great as a soup thickener, makes it really hearty!
Season the chicken thighs with salt & pepper and set aside.
Peel and roughly chop the veggies. Soften the onions, garlic, celery and carrots in oil spray, season with salt & pepper. Add the chopped butternut squash and potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
Add the soup mix, stock, bay leaf and thyme and allow to simmer for 45 mins.
After 45 mins, lay the chicken on top of the soup and cover. Simmer for another 15 mins. Take out the chicken and shred with a fork.
Fish out the bay leaf and thyme stalk. Using a potato masher, mash the soup a bit to thicken but still retain texture. Add more water if too thick. Return the chicken to the soup, stir, check seasoning and serve!
It's soooo delicious and filling, it's my winter staple. I make a huge batch and freeze in individual portions so I always have a lunch or dinner handy if I don't feel like cooking.

Come on what on earth were you buying to spend that much???
ha ha I wanted the mullers on offer EB and some chick pea dahl etc! I love the ocado service but can't seem to shop there v.economically but will shop with them every now and again for treats and special stuffs x

Ooooh my veggie boxes arrived today! When I was considering getting this service, I looked into Abel & Cole and Riverford organics. I used to order from A&C so I decided to try out Riverford which were pretty good. But the A&C people gave me a call, big brother style, and asked if there was anything they could do to get me back ordering from them lol and offered me 2 steaks with my first order and a 4th order free so of course I had to take them up on it. Got the HUGE delivery today! I got a salad box, deluxe fruit box and a large vegetable box and there's only DH & I!! Proof that we're getting our 1/3 superfree in!
The deluxe fruit box is a bit meh, got cherries (a tiny amount), gooseberries (wtf?), nectarines and plums. Not very exotic... Anyway the proof will be in the deliciousness!
Salad box and veg box look AMAZING though, can't wait to dive in! I like that they add in a couple of large potatoes and small ones so if I want I can have a jacket potato. Pics;
