That's great news about the shopping and the trousers! Not so good about that very hot curry though!!

I'll be cooking again later. I got a copy of the Simply Enjoy cookbook free for joining WW Online, so I'll be trying out a recipe from there for lunch - spaghetti amatricana, on p.60. I'll be modifying it, though, as the recipe calls for vegetarian bacon (Quorn I expect), but real bacon is cheaper.I'll put my points breakdown up later once I've seen what the modified recipe comes out to.
Aye, that's probably what I'd do normally...but I wanted to use up the bacon that was in the fridge too.Being thrifty today. lol.
It does sound a tasty recipe (the chilli is down as optional, so doesn't have to be spicy). The ketchup seems an odd ingredient to me, though. Never would have considered adding that to a pasta sauce normally.

Or, if the tomato sauce is a bit 'flat' a couple of squirts of lemon juice or vinegar will often give it a lift. I sometimes put a squirt of tom ketchup or puree in gravy too - helps to make it a bit richer - try it one day! Here endeth the cookery lesson!
Oh, and there is no such thing as an 'optional' chilli. LOL.

I'm pretty annoyed with myself over it all, to be completely honest, as I was within half a pound of being "into the 18s" as of weigh in last week...and was so hopeful to get that half a pound off for this week. Well, that's gone by the wayside for this week...and it frustrates me, as this is the point I get too every time I diet and then give up. I really need to shake myself up and get a proverbial kick up the behind.![]()
I reckon though that we can give more useful support than that as well! As Daisy said, lots of us have been there and know that feeling. You can make this the last diet where you get to that same point and give up. It might not be the last time you feel that frustration, but that's OK, 'cos if you didn't feel the frustration then it would mean you didn't care any more. There are always those two basic choices - carry on, or give up. If you give up, you know from past experience what will happen. If you carry on... well you're a week or two later getting there than you'd hoped for, but you're still getting there. My vote goes for you carrying on!
