SLIMFAST NEWBIES - Introductions

Hi guys. I'm Rayven, I'm 30 years old and I'm a foodaholic! lol
I have three children aged 7,6 and 11 months. I was 18 stone 6 at the beginning of the year and managed to get down to 15 by April, i then patted myself on the back a bit too much & came off the diet, but luckily have only put back on half a stone, but Christmas is coming & its my 31st Birthday in March and i'd like to be a LOT closer to goal by then, so am back on the slimfast! I did give Cambridge a try (as i've been on it before) but i just don't have the willpower right now to have absolutely no food - i find slimfast relatively easy to stick to though. Fingers crossed the weight will start to come off again. xx
 
Hello... not really sure what im doing. The site is a little tricky to navigate!

Well im Sally, 35 and need to lose 2 stone. I chose slimfast as i have got bored with WW. I used to be a WW leader but got fed up with the whole points thing. My friend is doing Lipotrim and we both started on Monday. So far so good!

I think I have introduced myself on the wrong page, but anyway, I am trying slim fast (tesco version) for the first time. It's better than what I thought and so far it's been ok, not as hungry as I what I thought I would be.

Using wii for exercise and adding some calorie counting in too.

hey, just restarted slimfast, did it about a month ago and lost 6lbs in two weeks so found it very effective just had a bit of a difficult time keeping it up over the last month. Anyway im back on it for good now, although would really benefit from a bit of support :) have 2 stones to loose am currently 11st 6 but am short so not looking so great on it. time for a change :)

Hi everyone,

I have just finished my first week on slimfast & had a loss of 1.2lbs, which I'm really chuffed with as 3 days this week I have had cake at work (different colleagues birthdays) and sometimes have only substituted one meal with a shake instead of 2 meals.

I've never done slim fast before -mainly because I thought that I wouldn't feel full on just a shake, but amazingly (to me anyway) it hasn't been as bad as I thought.

I'm aiming to slowly increase my 'committment' to the plan, ie. 5 days a week just one shake a day, 2 shakes a day on the other 2 days and then slowly build up so that i'm on the 2 shakes a day +600 cal meal 7 days a week.

try and throw in some exercise and you will see even better results (i did!!!)
 
Hi, I have joined as a friend of mine is on here (doing another diet) and she said it is a great help to have support of fellow dieter's.

Basically I start my diet on Monday, once back to work and doing daily walks of up to an hour. My goal is to have lost around 6-8 stone by August 2011 as that is when I am getting married, however my first goal is my holiday in June, I want to have lost at least a good 2-3 stone by then.

I have done slimfast before for a bit over the summer last year, however I came off it and all the weight went back on and quickly.

Hi, I am starting on Monday, although I am doing the Tesco brand version (UltraSlim) as it's so much cheaper than SlimFast, works the same way though I think. I have nearly 7 stone to lose, feeling slightly daunted but I know I can do it with some motivation.
 
welcome, ive not looked into the tesco version, so im sorry i cant comment, but dont feel daunted, just take each day as it comes and you will get loads of support and motivation as i have from this site!!

Day one completed near enough, found it easier than first thought. I just need to get my head around drinking the amount of water required. I am not a big water fan, any ideas on what I can do to make it more easier?
 
Hi girls, I'm new on here (although been popping on over the last few months ;) ) I'm starting sf tomorrow, I've got 1stone 9lbs to loose. I stopped smoking last March and my eating habits have just got out of control. Look forward to getting to know you all x

Bumble bee!! Im not a water fan, cant drink the stuff on its own, so i try and drink very diluted double strength (as you dont need as much) no added sugar squash! I can drink and drink and drink that!!! And as its no added sugar its quite low in cals!!

Hi all

I'm on my second day and I managed without giving in to the left over chocolate temptation yesterday (with thanks to the support). I feel very proud of myself tonight too as the family had chippy as I was running late from work and about from 4 small (honestly) chips I went without!
Thanks for the tip on juice with water Kes as I am not drinking enough. I have found that today my mouth is very dry and I feel like a have stale breath (soz). Does that come with the shake?! :confused:
 
Hi guys,
I've almost completed my first day of slimfast. I have a huge 6stone to loose. I currently weigh 17st exactly. three years ago I managed to loose 3st doing lighter life and got down to 12st 9lbs. I realise now that although yes I did loose weight and cant say the programme didnt work, I need a different approach. So slim fast here we come.
