    I'm at the end of my first Cambridge week and doing ok.

    I go to my CC tomorrow and buying new products. I like having soup and this week tried the spicy tomato and the vegetable soup.

    The vegetable soup is ok but the spicy tomato is absolutely vile. I've been making it into a paste with cold water then adding the warm water as instructed.

    I just wanted to ask - what's the nice flavours!?

    I have only tried chicken and mushroom and its bloody lovely! I have one a day for dinner, I really like them. They are really easy to make, put contents into bowl, whisk with a hand whisk and then put into a cup and it has no lumps and is super yummy and warm :) x

    Hi ladies the oriental soup is also nice and the leek & potatoe , what I do if I'm extra hungry I put veg in them to bulk out

    I'm sure I posted here about the soups but can't see it anywhere which means what thread did I really put it on!?


    However, thanks for the suggestions. I had the chicken and mushroom soup and it was yummy! Also have the leek and potato and a free oriental chilli in the cupboard after telling my consultant that the tomato was vile! Haha

    I hated the tomato too, as did my sister and mum, gross!!!

    oriental chili, veg, mushroom, chicken and mush and leek and potato are all really nice IMO. You can add pepper etc to taste.

    I always eat mine with a teaspoon to make them last longer lol! X

    In sure I'm the only person who doesn't HATE the tomato one!! Teehee! I wouldn't say I liked any of the soups, but I don't dislike them either... They are just the tools that will get me to where I need to be :)

    My fave was the oriental but taste has changed and don't like the soups now - tis weird how taste buds have changed. I'm just ion shakes now with the odd bar... I love the strawberry shake!!!

    I did CD in 2009 and didn't like tuna....post diet I love tuna! It totally retrained my taste buds! Very bizarre!

    I love most of the products but I really can't stomach the lemon bars....way too sweet

    I didn't used to mind the oriental chilli soup, but really not keen now. The vanilla rice pudding is vile, in my opinion- I can't stomach it at all. I've ordered a bar for every day this coming week, and will just be having shakes and no savoury stuff. My consultant is reluctant to let me have the bars in Week 2, but it's either that or I lose the will and give up!

    I have a months worth of products now. I needed the variety to pick and choose without restriction.

    I have a mix of bars/soups/shakes. I like having a shake during the day and then a soup when I get in and a bar in the evening. Just more manageable for me

    Current loss: 6lbs

    I used to love the soups (oriental and leek and pot mostly) I thought the tomato and veg ones were yucky! However I don't order them any more because I started getting half way through and just throwing the rest away. Now I like porridge for breakfast with a mixture of shakes and the odd bar for most of the rest. But I really like the rice pudding. You need to let it sit in the water for a good 15 mins before microwaving but I always liked the tinned rice pudding before Cambridge so maybe that's it?! I have rice pud on days I'm feeling hungry for some reason I feel like it fills me up more. Weirdness!

    Can't bring myself to try the rice pud! Lol just makes me think of junior school!

    I wasnt fussed on the "Spicy Tom" but it was because I stirred it with a fork and it was a bit powdery - I just bought a hand whisk so hoping my next packet will be better and I will add some pepper as well.

    Had the "oriental chilli" last night - YUM, that was delicious!

    I have "Chicken and Mushroom" today.

    I refused the "Leek and Potatoe" as I thought it would be a bit bland but I might give it a go!

    I found the leek and potato really bland and chalky but that's just me.

    I will have the oriental chilli even when I'm not on Cambridge I like it that much

    Rice pudding- ugh! It's awful (in my opinion). I can't stand it. I've only been having two shakes a day, as I only have rice pudding left, and just can't face it. I put nutmeg on it, to try to disguise the taste a bit, but it didn't work. I've had oriental chilli soup too much, so, I'll be getting shakes and bars only tomorrow. Can't WAIT to get started on the bars again!
