yeah, it those crispbread thingys LOL. i personally wouldn't recommend them. but then they can be useful for making low fat cakes. you'll never make a flatter cake than that made with scan bran. ;)

To be fair the choc scan bran cake recipe on britmums site is surprisingly OK. I find a quarter slab goes down well with a cuppa, it's cakey and chocolately enough to do the job. Just make sure you do give it enough chance to soak in the boiling water (and drain off the excess) before you mush it up to use.

good point. i just wish there was more cake from it though. at least it's easy to make and i can just shove it into the microwave rather than wait ages for it in the oven. :D
