This is my plan for todays dinner

Serves 6

500g large potatoes, peeled and cubed
5tbsp skimmed milk
450g extra lean mince
150ml hot beef stock
300ml tub of low fat fresh 'Neopolitan' style tomato pasta sauce
2tsp worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper

Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 12-15 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash with the milk and salt and pepper to taste. Preheat the grill to medium.
Meanwhile, dry fry the minced beef in a large non stick saucepan for 5 minutes. Stir in the stock, pasta sauce and worcestershire sauce. Simmer gently for 10 minutes until the mince is tender. Season.
Spoon the mince into a shallow 1.2 litre flameproof dish and top evenly with the mashed potato. Place under the grill for 4-5 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
