Starting SBD tomorrow- anyone else?

Hi everyone, I'm new on here! I have just had a bit of a disaster on SW (lost 2lbs, put on 1 - then ate everything in sight and have now put on 5lb!!)

I'm going on holiday in 7 WEEKS on tuesday and need to drop a dress size/lose one stone. Me and my best friend have paid a lot of money for this holiday and we will be raging if we turn up at the airport feeling fat and horrible in our clothes!

Panicking now - so I've decided to go back to the South Beach diet. I did it last year and slimmed right down (combined with running). Not sure how much i lost but was the slimmest I had been for a long time. I think that low-carb is definitely the best option (for me) for real weight loss, but I also like to have some structure and instructions, so that is why I am following the book.

So I am going to be doing the 2 week induction phase starting Monday. I'm not going to weigh myself because that's what caused the bingeing after the 1lb gain on SW - it's crazy!:cry:

good luck, I'm starting 2moro 2, not done it before but i have been reading the book all weekend & feel motivated now so determined 2 get a couple of stone off by the end of summer :)

Great - let me know how you get on and I'll do the same! Last time I ate fruit in the induction phase cos I just couldn't handle it without it - and I did the induction phase as an ongoing thing,longer than two weeks. I'm going to try without fruit this time but see how it goes - it's more important that it's sustainable I think.

So, today I had:

Breakfast - ham and hummous
Snack - 2 x babybel light
Lunch 2 x hardboiled eggs
Snack - rest of ham and hummous
[Then I did 45 min Spin class]
So then I REALLY wanted fruit so I had an apple and blackberries
Dinner - packet of Sainsbury's chicken pieces.

I've decided I am going to have fruit, but no more than two pieces per day.

Just spent a bloody fortune at Sainsbury's! Think I'm going to have to make some veg soup soon!

Feeling fine, hope it lasts!
