I have been in ketosis all week and kept to the plan (apart from 2 measures of brandy with zero in and 4 choc covered raisins). What's going on!!!!!!!

My boobs have gone up a cup size and are making me feel miserable!

For the first time since starting CD I want to eat!!!!!!!!! I feel cheated.

I have been drinking about 3 litres a day.
I don't have TOTM but am getting bad PM symptoms. Found out they could be due to the release of estrogen from fat cells.
I am hoping that the weight loss starts again by next week.
I am confused as why I can still be in ketosis and not lose weight though.

Your weight can stay the same even if you are in ketosis if you are retaining water, hormones play a huge part in weightloss as level increase as you are losing weight and can send monthlies crazy even if you are on pill.injection or even after menapause.

If you know you have been on diet 100% there is no way you cannot lose weight eventually and you will find it will catch up next week. Have you measured yourself to see what the inches are doing?

Dont eat whatever you do as it will make you feel even worse.

Thanks Jules & wickedchris - I haven't eaten anything! Just had a hot choc tetra and feel more positive again.

I ubderstand about the hormones but it's still hard to accept that being so strict on this diet can result in a STS!

I am on SS+ and have a 200cal. meal as it says in the book.

Next week I hope to be happier!

Thanks for the reply - it has helped
