Strawberries

I'm not sure if this is the right place but has anyone noticed their strawberries are a bit rubbish lately?
No matter where I buy mine from (tesco, asda, aldi, fruit and veg shops) they go mushy after a day-if that!!
In the summer they were fine and I had no waste at all but now they are either squishy, slimy, furry or a combination of the three.
I can only assume it is the time of year as they are also about half the quantity for the same price as last month!! I can't eat melon as I have randomly become allergic (weird) and now these strawberries are acting like they don't want to be bought haha.

Yep. Mine are like that too. Doesn't seem worth buying them so much at the moment. It's a shame.

Mines too, been buying them every week but had to toss them the past 2 weeks and they have risen in price! They are off the list now, bloody hate waste.
