Step 1 Sole Source Struggling!

Ah man day 6 and really struggling today?
The first 3 days were a doddle but today is killing me! All I can smell shut inside my house is BBQ! I have drank over 3 litres of water and am still starving!
Does anyone give themselves a little treat after weigh in? I need motivation?
 
Hi :) I go between ss and ss plus when I'm struggling... Helps me a lot. Felt fantastic after day 7/8 though! Did cheat twice though in 2nd week and felt shocking these past few days getting back on it ss plus has made it so much easier. Hope that helps :)
 
For the first two months I didn't cheat at all. I found it was easier for me, mentally cutting everything out. Maybe have another shake or bar if you feel you need a little extra?
 
I'm the same the first 12 weeks on SS I didn't cheat then I has to do a week eating and I haven't been the same since I was constantly picking but back in the zone now properly and I will get to target by Xmas

Hi Hun we all have difficult days I'm on week 3 now and love it..

One thing I did find to curb the starvingness was 2 boiled eggs just to fill the gap.. Also if you have the chocolate shakes split the pack in half and make 2 hot chocolates one just before bed time then you won't feel as hungry and spreads the shakes out over the day.. The vanilla one I use as milk in my coffees and can make 3 or 4 milky coffees just to break the morning up till lunch time :)

If you don't like eggs.. Try a bit of skinless chicken.. It's all protein and shouldn't affect the ketosis I had chicken last week cos couldn't stomach soup and it was divine and still lost 5lb xx
 
Thank you for the lovely replies it really does help x I had my first weigh in today and lost 8 lb so am happy and remotivated now!!!
 
yippeeee :) well done... i found week 1 ok.. week 2 i struggled and so far on week 3 im ok.. just think its your body adjusting eating all that fat to make you slim :) xx
 
It's got harder! I have been naughty and eaten twice! Not full meals just snacks but really struggling again!
 
Hi Amanda, I'm due my first weight in tonight! Fingers crossed for a fab result.....I have been so lucky because I really haven't been that hungry. My motivation is very high at the moment and I am completely determined. I did WW before and on WI night, if I had a good weigh in I'd allow myself some naughtiness that night and then get back on the plan the next day......with cambridge SS, we obviously aren't eating food so I think the only way for me to be successful is to stick to it 100%! I think if I started allowing myself a little bit here and there it would turn into more and then I'd give up! This is just another indication of my own personal issues with food that I need to work through over the next few months! My other half is SS+ and he is absolutely fine having some food in the evening -he hasn't even been tempted to have more chicken than he is allowed!

I am going to allow myself treats when I reach certain goals - but not food related treats! So, after 1 stone I'm going to get my hair cut. After 2 stone I'm getting my nails done, after three stone I'll get a lovely massage/body treatment at champneys.....that way I am losing weight but also improving my whole appearance! And when I reach goal?! I'm aspiring for some louboutins that I've had my eye on for YEARS!!!!!

I lost 8lb on week 1 and 2 and 1/2 lb week two (was a little naughty this week though) have also lost 6 inches in total!
