Summer countdown diary

Week 2

Feeling like I'm finally back on track. Sick of yo-yo-ing with this weight thing, need to stop shovelling food in my mouth and get back to size 10-12. Going away tomorrow for a few days, going to try and sort of stay on track. Will see how it goes :) Would be fine with a stay the same, just don't want to gain anything. Happy Half Term :) :)

Week Two: 8.5 lbs lost so far

Sunday 15th Feb 2015: 24PP
Daily: 33 PP

Breakfast: 2 slices 400g seeded bread (5pp) 2 tsp lurpak lightest (1pp) 1 tub philli light (1pp) 7PP

Ate late, around 11 am so will skip lunch and just have a snack if I'm hungry later

Snack: ww caramel bar thingy 2PP

Dinner: Chicken Quesillada 12PP

Snack: squares 3PP

Haven't used all my dailies... not sure if this is allowed but if I cut a few points out I won't feel as guilty going over points when I'm away :)

You have shown ureself hun u can do this i think with wanting to loose weight first thing is self belief what size are u now hiw ur toast sounds yumi x
 
Toastie was gorgeous! Couldn't have seeded bread on slimming world and really missed it. In fact, missed so many foods on slimming world! I'm a 16-18 depends on where I buy it from - awful when at school I was size 8 lol :( What went wrong!? Hows your day? xx
 
Yep i was a skinny size 8 in school to now am a tight fitting 16 we will get there i belive we can do it i would like to be a 12 i hated slimming world werent enough for sins lol x

D: Homemade chicken fried rice: chicken breast (4pp) 60g cooked brown rice (2pp) egg (2pp) peas (1pp) soy sauce (1pp) 11PP (value from recipe builder)

S: squares 3PP

This is today's plan. Really looking forward to chicken fried rice, it's what I always order from the chinese, hoping home made tastes just as good.

I'm good thanks :) Chicken fried rice was totally yummy and loads nicer than the takeaway! It's going to be my new weekly dish in my meal plans :) How are you? x x

Haha, that's the downside when you find a yummy recipe!

My day's been pretty good thanks! Actually managed a low carb day for the first time in a while... although I've got proper food envy now seeing your tea! haha xx
 
Cooked shredded chicken
Cooked brown rice
1 beaten egg
frozen peas
chopped onion
spring onions
1 tsp chinese 5 spice
1 tbsp soy sauce

Fry onion, chicken and peas in fry light for 5 mins, then push aside and pour in beaten egg. Stir the egg with a spatula until it scrambles then mix in with the onion, peas and chicken. Add the cooked rice (I used micro rice and added it in straight after I'd microwaved it) then mix all together. Add the chinese 5 spice and soy sauce and stir fry for a minute or so. Put on plate and sprinkle spring onion on top.

Pro points will vary depending on how much chicken/rice/peas you want to add. 1 egg is 2PP.

​Back! Had a lovely time away and semi stayed on track :) Undecided about weigh in tomorrow though, even though a sneaky scale hop tonight said a 2lb gain :( :(
