Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

I'm feeling just like you this week kimmie2709, I've been totally on plan and 'shredded' every day but don't think the scales are going to be kind on Sunday. Rapidly approaching * week again too!
 
See I don't have * weeks so can never use that to explain gains n loses. As long as we keep thinking we have an end goal and stick to working hard I'm sure if its not this week it will be another. Will just try not to get into the 'aaaaa just f*ck it. Gonna hav a cake' mode if my efforts don't show on sun lol will be weighing seriously early tho sun as I've got to meet friends at 730 to go to a show
 
Awwww Why_D, bet it won't be that bad!! It's only Thursday morning, just about half way through - you can have a fab second half!

currently resisting a bag of crisps... have about 45 mins before going to bed so hope i can hold off till then, but tomorrow i'll be having carrot cake and i'll be eating out for lunch and dinner on sat... with the possibility of more cake, lol
 
Meal out Saturday on the cards and my birthday Sunday but am on the super speed soup and hoping for miraculous results!

Sorry I've been AWOL for so long. Nice to see lots of 'new' faces (you may well have been posting for a while already !). I was having a very hard time generally (more life than SW) and just didn't have time to get on here much. All is going ok in general. I am still around half a stone over my lowest stable weight but that means I'm still almost 5 stone less than when I started 20 months ago. Something I've never even started to manage in the past.

Have been on holiday - got back a couple of days ago feeling totally refreshed and as a bonus I lost 3 lbs in 2.5 weeks. Considering my last 2 holidays had humungous gains that I struggled to recover from, I am totally thrilled. Also meant I was away for Easter so no eggs/chocolate temptations !

Hopefully everyone's week will improve but if it doesn't, just put it behind you on Sunday and move on.

Nearly five stone! You must be so proud! I am a relative newbie to SW, started in January this year and not doing too badly. In fact, I can't believe how much I eat and still lose weight! It will be great to have someone else on here with some experience under their belt ( at least its one of the things you can have under the belt that doesnt weigh anything!) We all need help to get through those tough times.

Hope you managed to avoid the temptation last night. Carrot cake - now isn't that supposed to be healthy ???? Sounds like you have a tough weekend ahead.
 
Yesterday I was out with an old friend who's here on holiday, I did drink but made all the right food choices.........until we went for a night cap and the plate of crisps came out. Anyway, managed to do day 13 of the shred with a touch of a hangover so back on track today. Easter here this weekend though, mmmm chocfest (after WI obviously!!).
 
Morning guys, still feeling like rubbish. Cold will you just DO ONE! I haven't stuck to the plan at all, and hopefully I'll get back on track soon. It's always the way isn't it, when you have a have a few days off you manage to catch some kind of bug to ruin things. Good luck for Sunday all, even I'll be weighing too!

I am sending weight info today as not sure how long it will b till bk at a comp and my phone is broken. Weighin in with a loss of 2.8 lbs - WOOOO HOOOOO - not amazing after a 7lb gain last week...However it is in the right direction (and only 5 days not 7!) lol xx Good luck everyone xx
 
How's everyone feeling about tomorrow?

I'm having one of those weeks where I just have absolutely no idea how I've done! Some weeks I'll be pretty sure I've lost well, others I predict a STS or gain and am usually right - but seriously no clue about this one! Have been good this week so hopefully a good one :)

I'd be happy with any loss this week - but I secretly hope for a 4lb one as it takes me to 2 stone loss hehe - I know that's a bit of a big ask though :)

You and me both. I need 3lbs to reach my two stone. Don't think I will do it as starting 3rd week of kettlebells and everyone says to expect a plateau for couple of weeks. I will regard it as an exercise badge of honor!

Syns? What are syns? Oh the things I was drowning in yesterday! Well I shall be bricking myself getting on the scales tomorrow as it roughly takes 2 days for my syns to 'show' stood on the scales this morning and was 3lbs lighter than how I started the week but when the excessive alcohol synage shows up I'm screeeewed!
 
Well I feel like I've lost but I still think its going to be one of those weeks like I said. Will just have to wait n see. Got sw fake KFC tonite which I'm looking forward to....then a long soak in the hot tub I think.....decided I'm going to spend my day off tomo cleaning

Hello, sorry for the delay in my reply. I don't have much time at the moment to keep checking on here, so haven't been on much. I don't have a diary ( not enough time!) and it has taken me 5 and a half months to get this far. I have just been really focused and have either lost or stayed the same every week, that is I have not gained at all. So far! I might have a small gain this week, although am hoping that I have STS. I always give up chocolate for Lent, so this week, after Easter, has been tough. Chocolate is my downfall. Before Lent, I allowed myself a few squares a night and I was happliy sticking to that. During Lent, I knew I couldn't have any, so I was fine with that too. But this week, with chocolate all over the place, I have struggled and have gone over my syns most days. It is also my wedding anniversary today (16years) so Hubby and I went out on Wednesday on our own for a curry and we are going out with family to TGIs tonight. I will try and be good and wont have dessert, but it is times like this I wish I didn't weigh on a Sunday!! Will have to see tomorrow.

But I think I am happy that my head is straight and although I have over-indulged this week, on the whole I have eaten well. The important thing is to think long term and not give up because of a short term blip. You have to enjoy yourself sometimes and if that means a few extra choccies or a pizza or whatever, you have to do it, then draw your line under it and carry on downwards :)
 
Just had 2 massive plates of curry, all on plan but fairly sure it won't help my WI tomorrow. Oh well, I've been here before so will try and stay positive. Good luck tomorrow everyone x
