Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

lol i've been lurking aswell when i can Honey and been busy for the rest of the week :D

Wow silly sausage don't you get bored with eating the same meals over and over in the week though? Xx

Hello silliness...

I've been to the doctors today who has referred me to specialist so I'm feeling better about that.. Going to get everything sorted out..

Well, hello all the lovely lurkers! Glad that you've got a referral, Roziee, and hope that everything gets sorted out quickly.

SillySausage, have just noticed on your stats that you are so so close to getting to Onederland, and under 200lbs. That's so exciting, what a huge achievement!

Another lurker - seem to be lost with what's been going on.

I miss loads being at work.

But guess what - I'm on hols now !!!!

Another lurker here. I've had a difficult 2 days. A bit (well, actually a lot !) of emotional eating which (considering that it's only the last 2 days) is a miracle considering the horrendously stressful 2 weeks that I've had. I think I'm just a bit behind everyone else who's difficult week was last week -I've always been a bit behind the times ! Ho hum. Draw a line and move on. I'm a bit stressed about this weekend - family do and very little control over what I eat most of the weekend and then off on hols.

Never mind, I will be here on Sunday (or maybe Monday for practical reasons) no matter what the scales say.

Hope everyone else's week is a bit better than mine !! :(

I'm guilty of lurking the last couple of days too :( I was so enthusiastic last week, then I decided I'd make my training group cookies and succeeded in eating about 5 of them. And they're nigella ones so they'll be worse than horrendous for me!!! Aaaah well!!! Back on it today and for practical reasons will weigh in tomorrow.

Gail, sorry you've had a bad few weeks, I really hope it sorts out soon... I know it's hard to stick to plan when you really just don't feel like it. I know what you mean about little control over food you eat this weekend too ... I've got the same problem

Good luck for weigh in on Sunday if I'm not back before then...

Roziee - that's great news :) x

Honey - loving that word "onederland" lol. You got me singing (badly) that Simply Red song of the same name now  I will sing it whenever I see a dorito this weekend and it will remind me not to eat it! My sneaky peek this morning says that my lazy menu this week is working well so I don't want to blow it Fri/Sat.

Gail - aawww bad days happen. It is the day after the bad day that matters. I trust you will do well. You going anywhere nice for your hols?

Joanna - I hope Nigella does not spoil your week or throw you off course. Forget about her! If Nigella raises her head again, pop on here and we will sort her out :D

Did I miss Smartie's wi this week? Hope you are not avoiding it  Bum kickings available here if required.

morning all, i've had a good week but going out for burgers and chips (to a gourmet burger restaurant) for dinner tonight, so not expecting much come sun, lol

Thanks sillysausage :) my sneak peek doesn't seem to be too damaging so I'm fairly happy despite nigellas best efforts to sabotage me!!!

Why_d - don't worry too much....if I have burgers I always leave the bread, eat the burger first, then start on the chips. once I'm full I spoil anything left on my plate with salt and pepper overkill so that I'm not tempted to pick. Might be worth a shot?

thanks joanna, but i'm gonna be enjoying every bite, hehe

well we didnt get to the gourmet burger place as belfast was full of security alerts (very sad times again) so ended up in chiquitos (mexican chain) where i managed a years worth of syns, lol

Shame about the burger - I'd love to try one of those gourmet burger places. Glad you had a good time in chiquito's though. I have also managed about a years worth of syns in the last 2 days so I'll join you on that one !

Happy Saturday morning everyone! Hope people are having a great week. I've struggled this week, it's been really odd - I haven't overeaten or anything, but I've hit a real mental block about weight loss, which is very very very very odd. I can't even describe it at all. I just feel like I've put it all back on again, even though I have been eating healthily all week and exercising. Maybe I am struggling under the enormity of all it (no pun intended).

I've been sticking to Slimming World a lot, and tracking everything. I do have a question though - I had a Sainsburys BGTY meal in the week (spaghetti and meatballs) which was like all their other foods in that range, which are between 300 and 400 calories and about 7 or 8 syns. This one wasn't on their online food list, so I entered all the details to get a syn value, and it came to 22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe this is right, because it's so low in calories and fat etc, but I've gone with the syn value because I'm trying to be accurate. Would you consider this about 8 instead?

I guess it gets tiring to be plodding along after nine months, and knowing I've got at least another year and a half ahead of me. Clothes are getting me down as well - I keep changing size, which is great, but clothes that are too big and baggy look horrible, but they are still relatively new. I've bought a load of stuff from eBay this week, which is quite exciting, so hopefully that will give me a zing.

Anyway, hope everyone's doing okay - I think tihs is quite a tricky time for a lot of us.....

Hey honey,

Can you operate a sewing machine? If so, tighten them when they become loose.. That wa you can still enjoy wearing them for a while.

I'm having to tighten my work trousers for the 2nd time now!

hey honey, i know what you mean about clothes, everytime i buy new clothes i feel like i've had them no time before they start to look big and baggy. i've been getting some bargains off ebay myself and also selling off a few items there

22 syns sounds VERY high! i'd be tempted to count as 8 syns but ensure you're having lots of superfree with it

Hi Honeypie :)

I did a wee search and found this post by our Sparky saying that a similar meal is 8.5 syns on EE...

Do you get a free food allowance on the calculator thingy?

I am 9 months in too but don't think of it as having an end tbh. Sorry if that is depressing. It is just eating healthy, yummy food so is not a bad life sentence to have. I think you should just relax and enjoy the ride. As long as your food is delish, you'll be fine. The alternative is eating rubbish that can make you feel like a slug.

I have run out of soup (at last! lol) so have made a curry for tonight.
