Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

Yay! Good news all round!

Ruthie I think it's true about the muscle weight gain - my OH has put on 300g this week but has worked like a dog doing very physical stuff.

Well here i am reporting in. Have had a crap week and together with star week has resulted in a 1.5lb gain. I think i have got away lightly to be honest. But i am going to be accountable and i am not giving up. A good week next week can get me back on track.

Everyone seems to have had a great week well done everyone. You are spurring me on after seeing u all keep going after difficult weeks and prevailing.
 
Half a pound off for me, I put a pound on last week so still playing catch up!

Well done on all the great losses this week. I'll be back on track this week but off plan today so probably damage limitation mode already!
 
I am still 100% so hopefully will lose this week :)
 
I was doing so well but I'm already self-sabotaging mentally.

I've been 100% since Monday, if a little slow on the exercise, but now have dinner out tonight and tomorrow, birthday party BBQ on Sunday and next Friday an early Easter BBQ :party0036: :eating:.

I can feel myself writing the whole week off in my head.....I need some psychobabble to change my mind set....quickly!!!!! :sign0163::sign0009::help2:
 
My stomach feels bloated and I weigh an extra kilo. Very P**D off today. Been working very hard all week, climbing countless steps, hand washed 3 swimming pools, below syns, lots of fruit. WHY? Also supposed to go to a party tonight with a buffet, we had decided to eat first but now not sure I want to go at all.

Re-read your posts from your bad week and see how unhappy it made you. Then make a decision to do the best you can on your nights out and stick to a pre-set limit. Def miss out the bread.

I feel your pain! What I would say is that if you are feeling bloated then you are holding water or could you be constipated? Either way it's not a 'true' weight gain just a temporary disheartener. Don't miss out on tonight (unless you really don't want to go!), I think it was Daisybell who said to me to focus on the social side of it rather than the temptations which will be in your way.

Early WI this week and I've gained 2.5lbs, at worse I was hoping for a STS. Feeling very disheartened at how quickly the weight goes back on.

Why the early weigh in? I know it's not good to see the gain but if its the result of some extra socialising that you enjoyed then the SHORT term blip is worth it, Isnt it?
2.5lbs can come off next week.

I joined my local SW club a couple of weeks ago and as a result have lost half a stone in three weeks. What this tells me is that I wasn't eating according to plan before. All those weeks when I swore I had been good........... If I can lose 5 lbs in a week after over a year doing SW, you certainly can!

Went to a business dinner last night with a bunch of colleagues and friends - I offered to drive. Gained mega brownie points, saved syns, woke up feeling fresh as the daisy I am. Worked a treat! Bit of advance planning helps no end. Still had a great time - so yes focus on being social, not eating and drinking.

Don't give up! Remember the feel good
 
I weighed in early so I can have a drink tonight without worrying too much about the scales. Sunday post WI wasn't great and neither was yesterday but I'd been 100% between. I didn't deserve to lose but I didn't expect such a big gain either! Hey ho, it's done now.

This might sound like tough love but I think you are already worrying about the scales...weighing early won't change next week's weigh in (and could possibly make it worse)...can you stick to drinking within the syn limit tonight? It's dead hard I know - I used up my sysns last night and ended up at party of very drunk friends drinking coffee...quite amusing from my viewpoint and I feel ok today.
