Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

I rant on here all the time, it's healthy to get it out...cause it's usually stuff that we don't feel we can rant about in RL so rant away.
Right then, in order to fix our lovely wee Sunday weigher club how about we all aim to post daily for the next week...food diaries, exercise, popping on when we feel like eating anything that's not tied down? It might help us all :)

Sounds a great idea Jenna. I'm in. It's all too easy to find excuses and I can't change the outcome of health tests so why sabotage my weight and health. Who is getting hurt???

Just had leek and potato soup with white lentils added for protein. Cottage pie tonight with min mince and heaps of veg. Kale, kale kale. I love it!

Made a pavlova last night so will have a sliver with fat free yogurt and raspberries.

Just completed a hour of kettlebells ( not being doing this for a couple of weeks so will pay for it tomorrow. )

A friend on SW reminded me yesterday HW motivating losses are. Two pounds off is enough to keep you on the straight and narrow and wanting more. How about we commit to 2lb off next week?

Louise - how can we help you? Remember HW good it felt to be in the zone? I think Jenna's idea of coming on here first when we get the urge to indulge in the naughties. I will check regularly

Hey girls!

Looks like we've all been in the same place this past week. I myself have had a up and down week. I had family up on Saturday and besides the wine ( which I have never counted in my syns) I did ok. We had a chinese for tea , i had beef black bean sauce and boiled rice. my only naughty treat i had was a few crackers and cheese . It all went downhill on Sunday , big sausage butty, full non SW roast at my sisters followed by cheesecake and double cream.
After getting home I then demolished half a pack of pâté , crackers , packet of crisps, and a wedge of cheese. Y did I do it -wasn't even hungry ! Think it may have had something to do with a surprise * week. But I'm normally ok . I tend to eat a bit more normal food but nothing like that?

I've tried to be back on plan this week and so far so good! Fingers crossed !

i agree with your idea Jenna , maybe us posting on here daily might help . Sometimes you think your on plan but with other eyes keeping a check it may help to see if we are missing anything.

Good stuff :) Glad we're all in. I'm going to aim for 1lb off next week as realistically I don't know that I can do 2lbs since I'm quite close to target but I'll give it my best shot.
I've this weeks weigh in to contend with in the morning, god help us all haha! Though I'm going to go and get my belly button pierced no matter what after weigh in in the hope that it will help keep me motivated in that I'll want to show it off in Florida.

Hiya how's everyone?

Hey ladies very close to target hope you will still keep in touch. Will be lost without you! !

I've been good this week but worried about Sunday. Stayed the same all week! Fingers crossed !

X x

Please can I ask for some advice.

I'm really strict with myself and don't go off plan.

But I really want to let my hair down at Christmas and not be counting syns. Eat what I want with out going mad. But worried about feeling guilty and not enjoying what I have?

What are you doing over Christmas? Few days off? Or stick on plan? X x

Hey Kelly,
Last year I hit target the week before Christmas...I gained about 4lbs over the Christmas week and then just couldn't get back on it properly. This year, whilst I am going to eat the same Christmas dinner as those around me I do plan to limit my alcohol intake and be sensible. I won't be counting syns as such but I will be attempting to stay in sight of the rails rather than going completely off track.

So my food today so far

B- fruit tea , 1x wm toast( woke up very late )
L - big bowl of homemade veg soup, 2x wm toast with Vegemite , strawberry Greek muller
snack - sweet and sour noodle mugshot
D- prob gonna be a jacket pot, homemade coleslaw, salad. Strawbs, grapes and pineapple for pud.

no exercise , too wet to go for a walk, can't do much else cos of a fractured elbow!

Hey Kelly,

Try not to be too hard on yourself over Christmas. You still wanna enjoy yourself so what I tend to do is eat my starter and dinner etc as normal. When it comes to pud I have a sliver so I'm not missing out. With other things like choccy etc i tend to have my own little stash put to one side -Once it's gone its gone. With other 'party' food I just make better choices- steering clear of the sausage rolls and cheese etc instead going for a homemade dip and veggies or pasta salad.

whislt on SW I have never counted my alcohol as syns. I do tend to socialise a lot so I have just made better drinking choices. I don't drink lager any more- I am like a fish on it. Now it's wine and lemo, or vodka slimline tonic.

I know you want to try to stick to plan but sometimes going off plan for a day or two can boost a loss too. It is Christmas after all !!

Hiya Jenna

Thank you x

Had it all set in my head but now not so sure x x

Hiya Kitty

Thank you.

I used to drink a lot. But since doing diet I've only had 2 bottles of wine. I don't miss it. Had it all set In my head.

I want pizza on Christmas Eve. And I really want a chocolate log. And we normally have asti for breakfast bad I know but its only one day in the year.

So confused. I'm not planning on going mad. Just want to enjoy myself and not have to worry.

My sister started her own cupcake company as I started my diet. Haven't touched one x x

Thank you again x x

Anyone else suffer the night before weigh in jitters? You over analyse everything?

Me. I'm doing it now. But my weigh in not till Sunday. I always over think things. And try not to use all my syns x

Kelly, in my opinion you can have all of those things. If your not a drinker then enjoy what you do have . Some Asti on Christmas morning is a must. Have your pizza on Christmas Eve , but a smaller on. Have choccy log , but just some and not a family sized one to yourself!

In moderation we can have it all. You've resisted the cupcakes so far, but, if you do give in to temptation, just have the one, not a box of twelve.

You seem to have a strong willpower so I think you could be fine over Christmas.

Try not to worry. I do try and think what I've had to eat and syns that I've had but I don't stress over it.
Whatever will be will be!!!

Thank you kitty x x
