Sun's battle - WEIGH IN - WEEK 1!

blast, blast and booger!, Nightduty was awful, I didnt cheat as such but I had 2 sero bars, they are only 1.5g carbs though so I should think it wont do much harm, I was drooling and so tempted with a huge baked lemon drizzle cake they had made and left for the night staff, so I will give myself a pat on the back for refusing a large wedge, the sero bars dont seem that bad really.

Lovely to see you again - I think your idea of giving yourself a pressie of losing weight for your birthday is so great... I am adopting that saying for myself. As a returner it is so easy to see SS or abstinence as a punishment and not a gift. Thanks for that it really spoke to me.

As for the sero bars (what are they?) I think you made the best out of a bad situation and were very sensible to have a back-up in the first few days of returning to SS. Just think how much damage you could have done if you had eaten the cake? But you didn't - you go girl.

Well asyou can see, I've been playing around with this last stone for too long. And all those new clothes I bought last year still fit JUST, I paid a lot of money doing LL then a new wardrobe of clothes so enough is enough even though I'm finding it much much harder this time!

How are you doing? are you still doing your locum bit for LL?

Sorry it took me a while to reply to this I have been sans computer over the weekend.

I am doing ok - back in abstinence (AGAIN!) and finding it hard I have to admit. I still seem to be stuck gaining and losing the same stone to 21lbs but at least I have not given up and put it all back on!

I believe you are now trying atkins - keep in touch I would be interested to know how that works for you

hi hun,

well I started cambridge last week and and did 3 days, but I was so hungry and switched to atkins, and lost 4lbs, so I was really happy with that, I need to watch my portion sizes, so I am using the shakes breakfast, lunch and having a atkins meal in the evening as this is when I get most hungriest.

I found it sooo had doing abstinence for the 2nd/3rd time lol!, if I could give an advice to newbies reading this post doing a vlcd would be to really really learn how to maintain your goal weight as, trust me it is sooooooooo difficult 2nd time round.

just un update, I'm doing something right as last week lost 4lbs, not a lot but going in the right direction, I'm having shakes for bkfast, lunch and a meal in the evening.

You need to try and stick to it 100%... why? Because if you start eating Atkins style it will open the door to other things and before you know it you won't be able to SS anymore. So don't do it! OK?

terrible terrible terrible, have been up north to a funeral, only got back an hour ago, living in a hotel for a few days, takeaways, booze and so many tears shed,
