So some people have advised me before to just eat healthily just before surgery, to make sure my body is fit to go under general anaesthetic, but what I wonder is - if CD provides all the vitamins and nutrients our bodies need, then why is it not okay to be following the plan when going for surgery? I'm guessing it's the low calories?
