SW Food Diary - bikini body

Morning Jens, how are you feeling?

Arrgghh, that's crap about the 2lbs gain :( Nevermind, that is now the past and you're going to have a fab week :)

PLease take your measurements, I know SW is about weightloss, but if you take your measurements now, in a months time you can compare them and see how much you've lost?

Pretty rubbish, but start of a new week again today, so just going to get back on it. Treated myself to toast with honey on last night, not sure on syns, but I just thought what the heck. I did my measurements yesterday. Need to make a note of them. I did them back in April and I have lost lots of cm's since then, especially round my waist. So I will keep going with that. Just annoying that you go to the meetings to get weighed... so that becomes the most important if you get me.

I've got my head back in the game and I will keep going as I do enjoy Slimming world lifestyle.

Food is looking fab hun! Not sure how you've put on 2lb if you've been eating like that. I'll keep a closer eye on your diary this week to see if there's anything I can suggest, if that would help? Nothing so far!

Are you drinking plenty of water? What are you using your HExA and syns on? xx

Hex A goes on milk as I don't eat cheese. So I often struggle to get it all in.
Undecided on syns yet. I have a little twix in the cupboard which i might spend 5.5 syns on later. And a bottle of becks blue? Think thats about 3 syns.
Definitely grateful for any advice people can give. I'm writing it all down to give to my consultant too and see what she says and I'll photo everything that passes my lips too.

Do you measure out your milk? I only started to recently actually and I realised I wasn't even using half of what I thought I was but I know a lot of people have quite milky tea/coffee so it soon adds up.

Have you tried doing daily syns for an entire week or would that be tough for you? I think the official line from SW is that they don't actually guarantee a loss if you use weekly syns, the most successful way of following the plan is 5-15 syns per day. xx

I usually have a few syns each day but save majority for one day. So I'm going back to 15 syns a day. Not measured my milk out, although I quite like Builders tea, so I very rarely use the amount that they suggest for Hex A, but maybe I should be using it all up? Milky coffee's it is. I could always have some porridge or weetabix as my 2nd Hex B later tonight as well.

Supper was banana cake and chocolate porridge made with options Belgian hot chocolate and my skimmed milk from hex a. Ended up being a green day so no need to syn my 2nd hexb.

Today's syns 6/15

Running tomorrow so may aim to have a few more syns.

Ooh how did you make the banana cake or was it bought? Looking good.

I think upping your syns when running is a plan. That or saving a hexb and having it after a run?

I'll post the recipe in a little bit, its on my phone.

Dinner sounds yum!! How do you make it? xx
It's from that recipe book, I put on Insta the other day, family feasts on a budget. Its basically, lean beef steaks chopped, onion, carrots, parsnips (I've used swede as no parsnips in and I've added celery as it need using), beef stock (500ml), worcestershire sauce, thyme and butter beans. I've put mine in my slow cooker, so will add the beans tonight when I get in so they don't go to complete mush.
And serving with brocolli and sweet potato.

They are delicious!!!
Here is the link to the Banana cake recipe I used Slimming World Porn: Banana Bread/Loaf

I've decided to try and get a few more fitness goals going and other none weight related goals, especially as I'm really struggling to lose weight at the moment.
My first is to sign-up for the half marathon in Warrington in September. That's 14 weeks away so plenty of time to get there, 10k is fairly easy for me now, it's just working on keeping going.

I'm also amazed at how my figure is changing. I've only lost 13.5lb now according to the scales. BUT! I've dropped 2 nearly full dress sizes. I say nearly full as some size 10's are still pretty tight, but I can get the buttons done up. And the latest shorts I bought are size 10's and fit perfectly.

You are doing great jenniecakes. Love your shorts on IG and your run..
A mazing! I get bored after 20 mins

I'm not sure how I keep going, I do enjoy it, and it feels like an achievment... I always use map my run too which every 1km tells me how far I've gone and how long it's taken, so it keeps me going a little bit. I don't like running in the rain though lol

Ended up saving the mince last night to make burgers for a BBQ this afternoon. The OH suggested Chinese takeaway too and I really fancied it. Chicken in blackbean sauce with green peppers and boiled rice (5 syns) and a salt and pepper chicken wing (4 syns).

Saturdays food diary
Breakfast
Banana before running and then raspberries and strawberries with banana and custard muller light.

Lunch
Salad of some description

Tea
Butchers syn free sausages and home made burgers on BBQ, will take a bowl of batchelors rice and a salad with me too :)
Maybe even a fruit salad as well

Undecided on drinking yet as I'm running Sunday morning with my friend and don't want to be to dehydrated. Thinking of mixing my gin and tonic in a bottle before I go. 15 syns worth and that can be it for the night. Or I have a few becks blue and ginger ale sugar free.
