Porridge doesn't take that long on the hob, if you cook it before doing all other morning stuff it can cool a little while you are getting ready etc. I reckon it only takes 5 mins more than cereal. And as long as you put water in the pan to soak it you dont have to wash it up straight away.
So the swim started yesterday, I left later than planned for the pool and I was due to start work earlier than I originally though so I only had half hour in the pool but I got my minimum of 40 lengths/1000 meters done. I was hoping to have more time as I want to do more lengths. Me and Nomad have agreed that 40 isn't the most we can do, it's the goal we've set ourselves so we just stop there whether we can keep going or not! Crazy really so we have agreed that when we have the time we will see how many we can do. Today I am hoping to have a whole hour in the pool and see if I can do 60 lengths
