Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Afternoon all! Well so much for my 'easy' day, famous last words! All was going well until my driver told me there was a transmission fault with the train and it would slow us down. Just as he got that fixed we heard that there was huge signalling problems near Portsmouth. Then we were told we would terminate early and leave right time from Fareham. That's good, right??? Wrong!!! We left right time alright but the train that was supposed to be leaving half hour before us got cancelled so we had 2 train loads on our train! Then with other hold ups on the way and some issues with passengers, it turned into 'one of those days'! Luckily I had 2 colleagues join me along the route so 2 of us checked tickets while the other took care of the doors. Teamwork at its best!

Sooooooooo although it was only a 10 minute delay it was a busy train and I was pooped when I got off!

Then I get home to find that a delivery I'd been waiting for had been and gone at the time I should have been home! So I tried to phone the company to arrange depot collection and its all automated! Worse, all the information they give for the local depot is that it's in Bristol!!! Errrr not helpful as Bristol is HUGE. Grrrrr so annoyed, DPD are stoopid and should have humans working for them

I finally got it from ANOTHER website only to find the depot is round the corner from where I work! So I can pick it up on my way home from work. And when I had confirmed that I was picking it up they actually give you the address then. But who confirms they will pick something up before they know WHERE to pick it up from???

Morning all. Just 2 more days then I have 3 days off, 3 lie ins. I have got a 2 hour break today so I am hoping they will let me disappear for 10 minutes so I can go and pick up my parcel rather than doing it on my way home.

Afternoon all! I did indeed get my parcel. I had a 2 hour break this morning so I was able to walk over to the depot to collect it. I mentioned to the guy in the collection place how difficult it was and how annoying it was that there's no option to speak to a human being and he said that quite a few people have the same complaint! Time they sorted that out I think!

A fairly easy day today but very hot. One more day then a long weekend

Well not much for Friday. A loooooooong lie in is first priority! Mr Taz has Friday off too so I'm not sure what we will be doing. On Saturday we are planning to visit my gran at some point during the day but don't know what else we will be doing. I expect Mr Taz will be playing golf at some point. And on Sunday we are going to my sister in law's farewell lunch as she is off to Uganda to work for 5 years!

Well not quite so much at the moment cus of the problems I'm having coming off these tablets but it's there in the background ready to kick in again when I am drug free!
