Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Afternoon all. Well what a horrible start to the day. On my first train I was attacked by, not one, but two TWO spiders! first I was sat in my cab when a tiny one abseiled in from the roof. I immediately surrendered, grabbed my stuff and retreated to a different cab. Then as I was walking through the train a bigger one jumped down from the roof, tried to tie me up in it's web and attack me! I retaliated by getting my train key and breaking it's web and 'assisting' it (without touching it) to an empty chair. I know they were related as they were both a sandy colour.

Later I discovered the source - 3 egg sacks/nests on the corner of one of the light fittings! Knowing that these sacks each contain about 100 spiders I asked one of the managers to remove them - and he laughed at me!!! Rotten man :(

But I survived, they didn't get me in the end :D

Morning all! So much for a lie in, I woke at half 5 then went back to sleep for an hour then had to get up as the toilet was calling! So here I am, first morning of my long weekend and already up and put the washing out! Just catching up on some TV I've missed before Mr Taz surfaces.

Iwas planning on scale-dodging til all the pills are done with but I hopped on this morning and I am only 1lb up on my pre-birthday weight which I am really pleased about!
 
That's really good news Taz. Your morning though sounds a bit like mine all this week - the body clock will not be denied Taz, more's the pity. It's working for me today though as I do have to go out x
 
I know Taz - me too but not as drastic as your early mornings x
 
Grrrr I have internet troubles! I kept losing connection this morning and rebooted 4 times. After that eventually totally failed I called Virgin and after 10 minutes on the phone they eventually told me it was a problem affecting the whole area! I said "What good is that to me? How am I now supposed to access the service I pay you for?" so she said she'd credit my account with £10 and it should be fixed by this afternoon. Still not good enough, so I asked for a time. She said 1pm. And guess what? STILL not fixed! I am not very unhappy and going to call them back. Tazzy on the war path grrrrrrrrr
 
Ah that's not good Taz. When I went and stayed with my cousin he was telling me about connection problems they'd had. He rang up and it got sorted but a week or so later the same thing would happen. This went on for a couple of years until he saw the engineer at the box thing at the end of the road. He spoke to him and told him what was happening. Apparently when someone rings up to complain an engineer goes to the box, unplugs someone's connection and connects the person that complained. The disconnected person then obviously rings and complains their system has gone down!!! My cousin thought this was pretty silly so he rang the director of the company, told them what was happening and some extra terminals were put in - problem solved!!!!
 
Mine started to really slow down, I got onto Virgin and they did something and it's been fine for the last year or so.
 
Well the local problem was fixed and back online at 1pm then 20 minutes later it all went again. So I phoned them back AGAIN! Turned out the local problem was fixed but there was definately a problem with my modem! So I have to wait now til tomorrow afternoon for them to send someone out who will play about with my modem, mmm and ahhh for a bit then concede that I need ANOTHER new modem! I am already on the second one from them and shouldn't be having these problems
 
How frustrating Taz - I hope it's sorted soon x
 
They usually have spares in the van but that just makes me wonder, are the 'spares' inferior units??? Ah well, at least I have my dongal til then
