I've had a good day today, after speaking with my CDC last night I realised I have been doing something very similar to the 810 plan for about 80% of last week (the rest of the time I was SS 100%), and that to make it easier I should consider myself to be on 810 not SS, as psychologically that way I won't feel I am being naughty when I have my protein!!
I'm quite chuffed really that I have been able to lose 8lbs on 810! My CDC said she lost 8lbs during two weeks on 1200 plan (as she was working up towards maintenance a few weeks ago after doing SS to get rid of the weight she gained during pregnancy)... that has filled me with optimism for the future- it's made me think that I may as well do each step if I will continue to lose, rather than switching to another diet.
So, looks like I'm doing this properly this time! SS, 810, then moving up the plans once I get to BMI25 so that I can learn to maintain without being "on a diet" forever more! Here goes....
