Well the day did my 3yr old daughter, who is one of a kind, was running n guy come round corner n she went right into his crutch. He was a bit of awright..... No flipping wonder he was my ex! Awkward moment much! Sophie was saying sorry and he just was like are they both urs! Hahaha! Come on its been 9 yrs n been with my man now 8 yrs! Just been feeling weird since it happened! This happned after lunch n farm so i prob was looking shattered too ahaha! Such a lovely day but everyone seems so tired, self included. Two full weeks of rain then this its messing us up! No wonder scots get a bad name hahaha we dunno how we feel with the weather! My girls r out side burning energy, OH fell asleep on sofa with his cuppa! Oh thts soph just come in with sweets from the neighbour! Lol no tea the night! Kids get offered fruit here u see! I domt have sweeties! Only ones i have are kinda treats for lunch bag! Im a good mummy so i am!
Well been n signed up for another 6 wk countdown , after much mind changing ( been going every week since may 2011) and not even got much past 1st off must b worlds worst dieter!!!! If I don't manage good results in this countdown that's it ..... If I couldjust beat this binging mood I'm constantly in things would b so much better

Dont be disappointed with 1lb loss this is more than you think (see my sig pic) and also have a look at this link. It shows 5lbs fat lost but runs through 1lb as well and it is not very nice and makes you appreciate what you have actually lost What Does 5 pounds of Fat Look Like? - YouTube

Thanks for that. it's just i felt i deserved more for my efforts this week, but at least it's a loss. i'm near berwick-upon-tweed. for once it's not raining here, but not exactly bright & sunny either!

I have yo-yo'd for years now and I am getting closer to 40 (8yrs yet but they are flying in!!!) so I want to try and get myself in check and try and maintain, I know I will have ups and downs and TBH I am not sure if I want to spend the rest of my life attending SW meeting to be able to do this BUT given past experiences of gaining 3st in a couple of years this may be the only option
Minimins has been a lifesaver though with help and recipes and just being able to vent.
I get pretty lonely as I moved away from family & friends and the friends that I have up here have had children and live 30+miles away from me and have their own friends now what with the kids but I dont have and spend all my time with OH. It does get very lonely & at xmas I had the thoughts of driving myself off the cliff that I was driving past and thinking that this would be the better option (at the time I was at an all time low). TBH though nothing much has changed, I still stay in the house lucky to get out once every couple of months or to the OH's parents for dinner on a Friday. I have work colleagues but again I am so far away from everyone and at this age everyone has their own circle and don't have the time!! So fed up with weight & boredom I joined SW in March and stay for the class so this gets me out once a week
Sorry for posting all this but as I said you all seem very friendly & supportive and it is good to get that off my chest even to folk I dont know and will never meet (perhaps thats what makes it easier!!!).
Anyway when I started this journey I weighed 12st 6.5lbs (178.5lbs), today I weigh 11st 6lbs (160lbs). My goal (here anyway - not decided a grp target) is 10st (140lbs).
So for xmas I need to lose 20lbs which works out at 1lb per week and I think I can do this.

Oh don't be disappointed, a 1lbs weighs so much - I always think of it as... a nasty lump of lard off my bottom or one of my chins ... goodbye lol - helps me anyway xxx

Forgot...STS...this week but I its star week (don't have them often as I have the contraceptive implant in my arm) so its a bit of a shock...fingers crossed my naughty binges will stop and now I have my new toy I won't have time to think about crisps chocolate or biscuits:sign0151:

It's all good though hun. As Alycyn & Donna have said it's a lot really. If you were to carry a lb of butter around with you all day (Euw) you'd soon realise what you'd achieved,

So much better than a gain though and you've already said you're losing inches, at certain places at least.
