Tesco Oat Cereal?

Does anyone know if Tesco Oat Cereal will knock me out of ketosis?

I've been looking online and these 2 have the least amount of carbs Tesco Instant Hot Oat Cereal 500G - Groceries - Tesco Groceries and Tesco Micro Oats Original 270G - Groceries - Tesco Groceries

I'm now down to 2 meals and 2 packs per day so need some breakfast ideas. The only meat I can eat is chicken, so cannot really have the for breakfast and then dinner. This morning I had quorn sausages and scrambled egg but wasn't too keen on the sausages. Tomorrow I'm planning an omelette but after that I'm lost for ideas.

I'm so confused to what I can and can't have, coming off the diet!

I emailed exante and they told me I can eat whatever I want :confused: but didn't give me any ideas to what could knock me out of ketosis, and what could keep me in.

I'd like to stay in ketosis for the next 2 week whilst I have the rest of my packs, and after that I'll be moving onto SW as I am close to my goal weight :)

I'm reading Pig to Twig just now and there's quite a few ideas on ketogenic/low carb breakfasts. They say you've to think outside of the regular breakfast choices. So once you've exhausted bacon and eggs, poached eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs then move on to things like smoked salmon and Boursin rolled up, Parma ham and mozzarella. Half an avocado filled with cream cheese, cold cooked sausages (make sure good ones without breadcrumbs) with mustard... Does any of that help/appeal?

There's loads more - are you going to be low carbing now that your coming of Exante?

Thank you so much for the reply Jen. Once I finish exante, I'll be moving over to slimming world, mainly because I don't like a lot of the low Carb food. I'm having low Carb meals now which pretty much consist of chicken, quorn sausages, egg, lettuce, cucumber, spring onion, cauliflower, sprouts and broccoli. I know slimming world won't be as low Carb but I'll have more choice of what I can and cannot have.

I'd just like to stay low Carb and have ketogenic foods whilst I'm still having my packs.
