Hi lovelies. I was up at 6.45 took hubby to work and then I went back to bed, I dozed on and off but didn't go back into a deep sleep. I still have a thumping headache and can see black flashing lights out of the side of my right eye. All I've had is toast I can't face anything cooked.

I was gonna visit sis but she has told me not to go as she is full of cold and it's the last thing Andrea and Jackson need.

Andrea had a restless night with little one as he wanted to cluster feed. She expressed for him but he is greedy lol she is exhausted today. They have taken more blood. If her infection level stays the same they will allow her home. If any change they will keep her in. All she wants to do is sleep. Her iron levels were in the 100's before she had Jackson they are down to 84 now so she needs a boost. She's still not eating much just picking. I just want her better it's horrible to see her the state she's in x

I have everything crossed that Andrea's able to go home today, I bet she'll be able to rest much better at home in her own environment. They'll be able to get Jackson into a routine better too. Poor things, they're having it tough... As are you. We're all worried about you you know. (((hugs))) xxx

Thanks hun. I think she will too. She rang me earlier and she sounded so down and miserable she is fed up ( understandably). The nursing staff are brilliant the deserve a medal each and every one of them. Cant fault them at all. The midwife who delivered Jackson was on shift yesterday and she came to see Andrea to give her a hug which I thought was lovely.

I will be fine once I know they are settled hun your all so lovely and supportive. ( My rants do my head in so goodness knows how all yours are lol)

Once they are settled I will settle and sleep better. xx

It's great that she's getting plenty of help in the hospital hun. But once they're home she'll pick up I'm sure. How lovely that the midwife gave her a hug!!
We don't mind your rants at all... That's what we're all here for, to listen and support :)

I was going to go complain yesterday thinking that they had given her unnecessary injections ( downside of the job I do im ever watchful) but the midwife beat me to it and confirmed they were necessary because shes immobile at the moment.

I also queried one of the drugs they had on her records which had been crossed through ( again because of my job lol) but they didnt give her it so thats ok

Quick update : Andrea is home yayyyyy. She has been stable for 24hrs. She needs to keep up her fluids, keep on with the antibiotics and complete rest ( easier said than done with a new baby)

Were off to see them now and see if she needs anything. Then hopefully they will get some rest tonight

Catch you all in a bit xx
