I just made the oatmeal into a cookie with some cinnamon, it's so so filling!! God I cooked it and thought nah it'll be crap but was pretty ok! Xx
 
Sounds yum! How do you do it? I don't have a microwave so can try it in the regular oven.
Only two packs left so better wait until my next order arrives next week before I go experimenting in case it's a disaster!
 
You just put a little bit of water in so it's like a cookie dough kinda consistency, pour onto a baking tray and flatten so it's like a pancake and I guess back for 5mins ish? I used micro but if I did it again I'd probably use the oven, I added some cinnamon too, it was nice, I kinda liked the paste before i cooked it though as I licked the bowl! Ha! Blazing through my food a bit fast today, slowing down now and going for a kip! Xx

Will try that cookie next week for sure. I made Rebekah's choc pud suggestion last nite for dessert....YUMMY!

I picked them up already, they're at their dads this weekend and they just got picked up. So sleepy time for me! Well I'm torn, nice few hours kip with bf or walk to the pool. Hummn what to doooo! Xx

I hate it when theyre at their dads, house feels do empty as bf works nights too.

Managed to fill my day super full, I always feel like I have energy now, it's making me think are people really supposed to just run on fat not carbs as usually I feel sluggish and bloated and tired, but now I'm doing things I usually put off and then look for more to do?! Walked 4.2 miles, sorted the kids out, gone swimming, been shopping twice, done some washing, made bf dinner, cleaned downstairs of the house and then my friend came over for a cuppa and just left and finally back in bed, and all of this with only sleeping 4 hours last night, it's nuts! And making me question ever eating carbs again! Hmmm. Lots to think about!
 
Yes Charl the energy you get is amazing isn't it. I've been awake now since 6am and it's my day-off.
Usually I'd want to sleep for as long as possible but it must of been the carbs making me lethargic all the time.
I seem to be looking for jobs to do around the house on a daily basis now instead of putting them off.
I've even made time for exercise lately yet in the past I could never find the time :confused:
In future carbs are going to be banned from my vocabulary :)
 
Yeah I feel very good in ketosis too, think phasing back to low carbs or paleo is the way I will go for sure

I think I'll always do low carbs now, well saying that I'm going to Thailand which is pretty carb heavy staple! Haha! But after I get back, low carb definitely. Pleased everyone else is feeling great too. Bit anxious about today as going to bf's dads for a BBQ, he loves food and booze, so hoping he's not going to hassle me for not boozing or fooding (well i'm going to have chicken and salad) bf has told him i'm on a special diet though so hopefully he'll leave me alone. Although he thinks diets are stupid.

DAY 20 (oh my god, 2 days left before refeed!)

9:30-11:30am 2 cups of tea w/milk
11:30 500mls water
1pm caramel shake
1:30pm white tea (like green tea but the flower)
5pm 3 skinless BBQ'd chicken drumsticks, mixed salad (lettuce, cucumber, green pepper, fennel, celery, radish) + 800mls coke zero & cup of tea (phew was so worried about the BBQ)
7:30pm truffa bar
8:30-10 1litre water

Oh ps had a sneaky WI yesterday afternoon and showed the same as Monday, :( but I still have 3 days til my final WI and i'm pretty sure I'm one of the people thats STS then has a drop rather than losing a little a day. Plus exercised all week, maybe having 2 days off over the weekend will let my body recoup and lose a bit :) x

I had to go to a BBQ today, no booze, no bad foods I don't think, bf's dad did chicken drumsticks with no skin, I had 3 as they were tiny and a load of allowed salad with no dressing, do you think that's ok? Obv I counted it as my protein so it's not ontop. I think each drumstick I only got about 3 bites of chicken. Xx

DAY 21!!! Waaaaaa (can't believe I've nearly done it)

Ok I know it's only 3 weeks, but for me to stick to something this restrictive, whilst cooking for my family (lush dinners) and going out twice AND keep on plan is a major achievement.

I'm having 2 days off exercise as rest days, and they are lovely. I just woke up infact! Haha! Lazy cow, but I haven't had an 11 hour sleep for god knows how long! Was lovely. Am hoping a nice long sleep will help my losses too.

Ok foods..

11:30am cup of tea
12pm 500mls water
12:30 2 boiled eggs + cup of tea
1:30pm 500mls water
4pm chilli and 100g cauli rice and mushrooms + 500mls water.
5:45pm coke zero
7pm green tea with peppermint
7:45pm mac n cheese and 100g broccoli
8pm 500mls water
9pm 500mls water, baked hazelnut shake + cup of tea
10pm 500mls water

So weird totally lost my hunger, I can go so long without eating now, and I'm always looking at recipe books for things to cook the family and it still doesn't spark me off! 8pm and still a pack to go :) happy days! X
