Congrats on all the losses so far, can't wait till Monday when (hopefully) my numbers will start to go down. Feel like I've had a good day today. I haven't had the usual urge to raid the fridge this evening, still feeling full from dinner. Turkey with roast sweet potato and parsnip, sugar snap peas and pepper sauce yum!:) I made some salmon mouse with quark and cut up some crudities just in case but I don't think I'll need it, woohoo!!

1lbs on for me this week its my star week, going to try harder to lose more for next week:D xx

Hi everyone,

Can I join you all please?

I currently weigh 16st 12lbs and at only 5ft 3in I'm extremely overweight. I know it's not good for my health, but I really want to lose weight as I want to feel comfy in nice clothes.

The camera is my enemy, I hate having my photo taken looking like this! So I really need to lose at LEAST 6 stones. Hope to motivate and be motivated xxx

Welcome to all the new members... I'm so pleased that everyday it's growing!!!

Challenge for this week is to drink 2 litres of water, 30 mins exercise a day and 5 sf foods a day! Hehe that should keep us all going including me!

Dory I was online for 6 months before my op.. I didn't think it was worth the money but I'm not even sure I prefer group either.. It is expensive but I used to spend so much money on takeaways a month that it doesnt matter... You get all the recipes u want from there and all the syn values which is great but I'd say go to prefer as the majority of people do enjoy going to class.

I'm having real bad munchies so in bed now...

I've made the salmon pate.. It's yummy!

just wondering does drinking squash count as drinking water? x

Hi everyone,

Have done 2 out of the 3 challenges; I have drunk my water and had peach, nectarine, clementines, bananas, apples and carrots for my SF, however I am still not able to exercise properly - got another week's worth of super strength antibiotics today from my doctor as still poorly, boooo.

At least I am sticking to the plan food wise! :)

Have a great evening everyone, xxx

Hi everyone, well done on all the losses fab job :hug99:

Mummy Sarah, squash is fine as long as it's No added sugar squash, nothing will ever be as good as plain water, but squash is acceptable yes :hug99: xxx

I drink 1/2 of my fluid intake of nas (no added sugar) squash so yep it's fine. Like lily said, do try to drink plain water though as that will do ur body wonders x

Oh noo miss.. You're still ill? Feel better soon darling x

I'm at home today, taken the day off.

The flat is a mess and I need to have breakfast.

Going to have another syn free day if I can. Fruit for breakfast, cooked breakfast for lunch and then curry and rice for dinner.

Is it ok to have no syns? I've been told that I should try to eat all my syns (admittedly this is by friends on the diet and not by a consultant or anything) so would I be ok not to eat any or all of my syns? Its just I'll admit I'm struggling to use them all

Hi dory,

How are you feeling today?

The plan says you should have between 5-15 syns a days..

Some people like to use a weekly countdown of 105 syns and then if they want to go over the 15 syn allowance they can.

I normally do the 15 syn a day rule but I ate too many on Wednesday so to stop me from eating too many this week I'm planning of having as many low syn days as I can. This way I still ave control of what I'm eating and don't feel like giving it up.

I was looking at the magazine though.. And in their 7 day meal plan there's not one day where the syn value is a minimum of 5.. So to answer your question.. It is ok to have 0 syn a day :) don't feel as if u need to have them if you don't need to..
