Aww wish you lived closer! I have an exercise bike you could have! I second the cross trainer is fab! It puffs you out... Have you looked for a local gym hire? We have one local to us, they stock really top quality gym equipment and you can hire per month £50+ pm and they deliver set up and demonstrate etc. Cheaper to use and also means after a month you can pack it in if its not working or opt for another equipment.

Went to the circus today.. didn't eat til 5pm and had a huge salad followed by lots of mini eggs! Argh. Can't wait for WI tomorrow morning, need a line drawn! :(

Roz have you considered a cross trainer? It'll tone more and also work on stamina where as a treadmill wouldn't really tone arms and legs so much - you should also be able to pick up a half decent one for that money too - otherwise are workout DVDs likely to help? The 30 day shred is so good for inch loss - i am losing Inches even on the weeks I don't lose actual weight

Been looking at the reviews emmey- my only reservation is that I won't lose weight, just inches. I know that that's better (losing inches) but I might buy it.. It's quite high impact though isn't it? Will it not be bad for my knees at my weight?

I got a really good quality treadmill for £500, and it's as good as the ones at the gym. I got it on line and it was free delivery too.

Hey darling- where did you get your treadmill from?

Hiring the equipment is an idea too- will be like going to the gym but just having one thing to use.. Hmm. Thank you for the suggestion :)

Anything where your heart is pumping and your breathing harder will mean weight loss, also the cross trainer is much less impact than the treadmill or running - because it's a much more 'glide/slide' type movement rather than running where your ankles and knees can take some impact
But at the end of the day you need to go with what you want so that you'll use it :)

All this talk of treadmills, circuit trainers is toooo scary lol

I can only manage my dog walks with a very lively Coco......only one week to get my Gold award!!

Back to work today :( but have planned today's food and sticking to it!

Good luck gang xx

WI today! Hope I managed enough damage control during the week for a bit of a loss.... roll on!

My mother bought a treadmill years ago... it was used as a coat rack in the hall and then she threw it out in the skip lol

I bought my treadmill off ebay and make myself use it for at least 10 mins three times a day and it def has helped burn fat as my heart rate goes up enough but the big difference is the shape to my legs and thighs has def improved.

Good luck for WI Tuesday weighers!

I never learn from my mistakes!

Went out for dinner, ordered a double chicken breast burger in a bun with chips and could barely eat half of it.. feel horrendous now. Bloated and unconfoetable. They put onion in the burger even tho I asked not too, I sent it back but they just removed them and sent it back out.. onions give me terrible cramps etc so that hasn't helped. Argh.

I worry I will never be able to go out and enjoy dinner like I did.. ? I'm out on a date Thursday.... Eeeek. And he asked to take me for dinner but I'm going to ask if we can just have drinks as I just can't eat like I did late at night now. :( does make me a little sad tho!

Is this normal?? My consultant did say eventually your appetite declines but blah. I reckon it could be a chicken burger n fries just isn't as tasty as I thought? So bland... Perhaps if I'd ordered something else?? Hmm.
