>>> The 2012 Six Stone Challenge Thread <<<

Yeah I can see myself wanting a tummy tuck and boob lift when all's said and done. Gravity hates boobs anyway, and when they start out at 42f... you can imagine they'd be like sports socks with a golf ball in them at the end haha

Fatbegone, how have you managed to lose 10 inches off your waist? I've lost 3stone and only lost about 4 inches off my waist...only dropped one size... madness.

I've lost 3 stone 6lb now and its 10" off my waist, 6" off my boobs and 5" off my hips. I'd prefer all 21 off my waist and hips tho..! I'm pleased I did my measurements now as it does help when the efforts aren't showing on the scales.

I don't no how, it seems to come off my waist but my hips are stubborn. I'm surprised its coming from my waist when the exercise I do is jogging and occasional zumba. :S

I'm not even sure what size my boobs are at the mo, they change throughout the day lol. I am still in maternity 'sports type bras' and have said I will buy myself a couple of new bras when I get under 16 (hopefully for my birthday!) seeing as none of my pre pregnancy will fit I think I deserve it lol

I've had 4 off my hips, my boobs change so often with breastfeeding but lost about 3 from under my boob, rib cage area.

I dont keep a food diary but everyday is very similair, like today I have had a mullerlight with strawberries and blackberries stirred in, Dinner I had a brown cob with laughing cow extra light and ham and a load of salad, Tea just had diet coke chicken then some point this evening I will enjoy a few dime bar Makado's and mainly drink pepsi max!! Oh and all deserts are muller lights and strawberries and blackberries!
Everyday is very very similair just a main course varies to a stir fry, a fry up or burger, chips, beans and mushrooms
On top of this I am walking on average 2 hours a day with my dog as well as swimming 2 or 3 times a day!!

Aww thanks for sharing that. Swimming 2-3 times a day!!?! Hehe. Have you always done a lot of exercise or did you find when you initially started it slowed the losses on the scales down??

Since I started I have increased my dog walks from 3 15ish minute walk's a day to two walks that are about an hour long each and one 15 minute walk and yes I dont do swimming 2 or 3 times a day, lol as you guessed its 2 or 3 times a week. I seem to be doing at least 1000m a time (30 to 40 lengths at my local swimming baths!
Plus a lot more walking on top as I am not allowed to drive as I have Epilepsy and am not allowed to drive!!

I will edit this post as the day goes along and let you know exactly what I have eaten!!

Ooo excited to see your meal plan today!!! :)

I'm taking today easy... Think I've over done it, working nights and running / walking everyday and still getting up early with my boy etc I think I burnt out by last night so going to enjoy today. Not go mad but just take it easy. Weigh in is next Tuesday so ill be back on form tomorrow. Never know, it may help.. doubt it but maybe!!

I've taken photos of me in my bridesmaid dress/gok dress so when I'm in a wifi area ill upload them :)

I bought the 100 days of extra easy and going to join in on challenge of 2 ltr water a day and 7 ss foods and going to run everyday for 30 mins minimum... Well. As of tomorrow! :)

Thanks for the kind words on my doodle guys :)

Just scoffed ANOTHER big bowl of soup... My coworker's are starting to think I'm on the cabbage soup diet! :8855:

But it is sooo darned tasty. mmmm chicken.

Weigh in tonight... Starting to pants it a little if I'm honest. Last week was really bad - I've pulled it in and stuck to the plan 95% this week (Had a twix on wednesday :smoke: ) but I have a feeling that the rest of last week may yet be waiting to kick me up the bum. Here's hoping it won't anyway.

FBG: I think taking it easy for a day is a great idea, sounds like you're about ready to collapse! My C is always talking about stress weighing heavily, and I agree with her tbh. There was a point at the beginning of this year where I was SO concerned about losing that I stuck to the plan 110%, and for three weeks I only lost 0.5 lbs each week. It was soul crushing, so I can imagine how you're feeling right now. But then the fourth week, I just took it much easier, didn't work myself up over everything so much, had the occassional treat *(within syns though of course) and voila - 4lbs off.

Wish I hadn't gone and put it all back on again though :8855:

Rialrees I think its only human to have doubts on weigh in night! Let us know how you get on, on the scale of things a cheeky twix won't have done much damage at all so I reckon you ll be fabulous and fine!

Have loved my relaxed day... Went back to bed for a couple of hours and had a lovely sleep in silence. Bliss! And then woke up had a small bag of minstrels and then thought Oooo maccyds got into the drive thru and thought no Beth this isn't what you want. So ordered a diet coke and now sipping it in the car feeling very smug! Have got a 6" subway for dinner but that's it today so hoping the calories content will counteract the naughtiness! I just haven't the energy to hit Tesco today.. first thing I will tho :)

Many will remember the drama regarding me saying I could fit into skinny size dresses and not wanting to drag it up but just put them on here to say I." can but have a hell of a way to go til they look nice!!" Hehe. Here's the photos of the dresses/ me in them. Sorry they're a bit obscure but taking photos in a mirror is tricky! Also I'd urge anyone to go and buy a gok WAN dress in a size smaller than they are, that's the first dress in these photos, honestly they're fab and come with a slip that sucks it all in and up!

^ my bridesmaid dress and I know it looks awful my boobs are flopping out everywhere and wings are flapping but it fits which I never thought possible!! I need some ARM timing exercises if anyone can recommend any??

IMAG2343-1-1-1.jpg

^ my prinark jeans and top, my usual attire haha. I'm honestly far too lazy to arse around with dresses and frocks most days so this is what I usually have on but with a cardi!

And thought I'd add this one of my lad as it always brings a smile to my face :)

:O You look GORGEOUS hun! And stop faffing about yer boobs - I'd kill for knockers like those :p ;)

FBG you look fab :) lovely dresses, and love love the colour!

Ria- recipe for your soup please :D

Course hun! It's an absolute Piece of Pie, and this makes enough for about 6 bowls (loads leftover to heat up if you get the munchies):

1 Pack of Chicken Thighs, skinned & Boned
1 Onion
2 Sticks Celery
1 LARGE Leek
3 Carrots
2 Parsnips
1 Small Swede
(And any other veg you think you might like...)
2-3 Chicken Stock Cubes (Depending on volume of water)
3 Litres of Water (Depening on the size of your pot!)

Wash the chicken in luke-warm water. (to get rid of any excess fat) Chop everything up, Bung it all in one pot, bring to the boil and simmer for one-two hours. Add some salt to taste, and SCOFF IT!

I love a good ole' one pot wonder ;)

Hey everyone.

I hope you're all eating lots of SF foods and drinking lots of water!

I've had clementines x3 only yet but making biryani tonight so will have loadssss of onions, tomatoes and salad of cucumber, lettuce, more tomotoes, carrots and then making a coleslaw with cabbage and carrots and some apples and banana so I'll have had my 7 SF.

And water? I'll have drunk my 2 litres by the end of the day :)

Not sure whether you remember but I thought about buying a treadmill a while ago but then didn't end up buying it- we live in a Flat on the 2nd floor and I was conscious that we're going to spend so much money on it and then me ending up not doing it because it would make too much noise for the people living on the floor below us...

Then I got thinking again and I thought lets go for it. We have 28 days to return it so what's there to lose? If it makes too much noise I'll give it back.. So I've called them up and they're going to see if they can get it delivered this week because we're off. I hope so. Will be nice to start it this week.

I don't plan to run  just walking will be more than what I do now.

I'm going to do a major cook off and buying those foil takeaway containers and am aiming to cook 14 meals worth so I can no excuses when I get back to work next week and am well prepared.

Something that made me think when I read t1cky's diary.. I love fruit. So I'm going to read up all the fruits that are SS and buy them in bulk and ensure I eat lots of them. And veg I suppose too, that would make sense..

Fatbegone... I love those dressed.. I would absolutely adore your bridesmaid dress if it came in the teal color of the first one!

Rozie.. Ehm, I haven't been naughty today, but haven't been very good either. Left the house very early this morning and am only home now so literally all I've eaten today is a hi-fi bar :( But the good news is OH had my dinner on when I came in. SW chips, pork medallion and salad and veggies (carrots and swede).

I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to start the challenges, but I will start tomorrow! Also joining the gym tomorrow.

After all guilt, I must not have been as bad as I thought I was being. In the last two weeks "off plan" I've gained 1.5lb. Not too bad. I'll have that and more off next week!

1.5 lbs in 2 weeks isnt at at all! And you're still having SF stuff today so I wouldn't worry :)

You have a habit of not eating missy :p not eating makes your metabolism slow down so keep some fruit with u to eat on the go.. X

T1cky- I see you asking for romantic meals suggestions... Tell us all! :D who is the lucky person and why haven't you told us earlier!

lol,
Yes been seeing a bit of a lady who lives quite close to me!! So close a bit of a strange moment yesterday when I was walking my dog with my mum and she was walking her kids back from school, we bumped into each other and had to say a shy hello as not ready for both families to know anything as yet!!
She is a fellow slimmer world attendee but didn't get chatting there, we met on a dating site even though we both see the same sw coach.
I am hoping we get together Saturday evening and I want to show her my healthy cooking quality during a romantic evening!!
So come on you ladies lets have some good suggestions for both the food and the evening as long as we both stay free, depending on ex's looking after the kids!!
Oh and an apology for not asking all you lovely ladies for advice first!! :D
