The final frontier

FFS- someone baked me an early bday cake and bought it into office. Put a slice on my desk and stood over me until I tried a bite.

I literally had one bite- she went away and I'm now gonna bin the rest. I really wanted a 100% day!!!!

But she baked it for me- seemed harsh not to try it? (She doesn't know I'm on CD)

Annoyed but I'm just gonna pretend it didn't happen. One bite can't do too much harm?

FFS!!!

I got the outline of an inverted triangle on my foot/ankle... The tat is for my sister (who died giving birth in October) I decided on a triangle because it has 3 points- one for her and one for each of her boys- it symbolises womanhood and motherhood and it is the strongest shape... So I feel it is appropriate... What do you think?! I cant work our how to post a pic off my iphone?! Xxx

Do not get angry about the cake.. You did so well to get rid of the rest,, and to be honest,, as much as this diet is about sticking to it 100% and looking out for yourself,, I prob would have done the same. It was either that, or tell her you can eat it because your on CD. Even then, she prob would have told you to have a bit and seeing as she made you it, it would have been rude not too!.. just make sure you dont slip now youve chewed something lol!..

I think the reasons for your tat are really meaningful. Youre right,, it is the strongest shape as im sure she was! Sorry to hear about her loss, but you have something to remind you everyday of strength and of her and her two boys!... wonderful idea!

Down to 10.0.4 this morning. If I can lose 1lb by tomorrow so I see the 9's on my birthday ill be quite happy. It will be a STS week which after the weekend would be a miracle!

TOTM is back with a vengeance. Wtf?! So annoying. Feeling bloated and got pains. FFS - still this is a bit more normal than my previous 3 day lighter than light one 2 weeks ago.

Weird. I expect that has something to do with my lack of control at weekend. Doesn't help when you don't know why. If I knew it had been totm urges I might have kept myself in check. Ah well.

Hope you are all doing ok and feeling strong and positive.

Stay strong. I had a blow out day yesterday too haha! Felt sick after but glad I did it so now i can stop fantasizing about food. Straight back on it today too.

Thanks honey! I did squeeze into the 9's yesterday- but the birthday fun has started so off plan now till Monday.... Yikes! Not gonna WI till then- too painful! Lol xxx
 
Wooooooaah. A long weekend of excess. There was cake, there was Thai, there was alcohol there was a massive hangover, there was pizza, there was curry and there was Chinese. All in the space of 4 days. Just 4. I feel ashamed to write those words!!!!

So I'm feeling bloated, headachey, tired, sluggish and heavy. Which is not surprising as I have put on 6.5lbs. 6.5!!!!! I realise this is something I deserve. But half a stone in a weekend. Wow.

Ok. So this morning 10.6.1. Today and tomorrow are 100% SS days. Then wed my grandad staying over so will make a ss+ meal. Then Thursday we have a function where we might meet the queen?! So will be eating what is provided. Then MIL is staying for a week so will be trying to stick to SS+/810 till next Tuesday when I start 100% SS again.

Blerg. Just wish I had a clear 3-4 weeks with no socialising planned so I could just rid myself of this last 1stone!

I also had a 3 day weekend blowout for my friends birthday which has resulted in a 4lb gain... hopefully most of it is water weight and will lose most 2-3lbs in the next few days. Its so easy to out it on when you start eating the wrong foods.
What ive learnt is that i am going to have occasions where im going to eat, and ill be honest i knew i wasnt going to eat sensibly the trick is to just get straight back on it.. Itll soon come off :)

Thanks for your support and your solidarity! I think a lot of us in here had off plan weekends.... You're right when you say that you knew you weren't going to eat sensibly.... Neither was I this weekend... No intention of it and sometimes that is ok.... As long as we keep it to sometimes.... Occasionally. Lol. I actually was sick of food by Sunday night.... Not feeling hungry or anything now cos feels so good to be eating less?! Do you feel the same? Kind of reminds me that gluttony does not pay and sets me on the right track for a 3 week positive stint.... How you getting on so far with the restart? Xxx
 
Wow - I was 10.1.2 this morning so lost 5lbs overnight. Come on!!! If I can lose 1.5lbs by Thursday ill have a stay the same which after the weekend will be an actual miracle.

I have decided to start walking home from work as well as in to work. As it is actually quicker than my convoluted bus route, and it is free, and it is good exercise. So with that and my walk in to work I should be walking about 10km everyday. Which works out to 50km per week. Plus gym 3x per week. Which is pretty good I reckon. The extra walk is doubling my calorie burn on its own! I enjoy it too.... Clears my head. I have plenty of time to calculate how much weight I can lose in how much time if I can JUST STICK TO THE DIET. It's really not that hard. It's a mental thing. I need to get back in the zone. Having people stay over doesn't mean I have to eat. I CAN cook without eating the food. I need to learn this. I'm going to try that this week.... And I'm going to try having a 100% SS week (apart from thursday at the queens function!) Yesterday was a success.... Today will be a success. Tomorrow it gets more difficult with gramps staying over..... Then queen then MIL. But screw this.... I CAN cook for others and not eat it myself.

Anyone else struggle to do this? Xxx
 
Wow so I was 9.13.3 this morning.... Woop! That is about half a pound less than before my birthday weekend of gluttony! How I've managed that I don't know. Official WI not until tomorrow too so could even be a loss this this week. Mental. I genuinely thought I'd be languishing in the 10's for another week after my indiscretions and frankly I deserved to be.

I think the extra 5km walk home must have helped and also TOTM seems to have finally done one and left me alone. Thank the lorrrrd.

So tonight my grandad arrives. I shall be making a chicken casserole but am going to try not to eat any myself. Will have to eat at the event tomorrow lunch..... But I'm hoping there will be light carb free choices! I am so staying on this wagon now.... If I could see 9.12 or even 9.11 by the start of next week ready for my 2 weeks hardcore SS 100% then I should be able to hit my pre skiing target of 9.7 (or even- actual target of 9.4?!) need to be strong tonight. I feel for all you ladies (and gents) who have to cook for your families every night. Dunno how you can do that and resist! So impressive.

WI tonight and I had lost 0.25lbs. Lol. But I had a sandwich at lunch (it was the only thing on offer at the reception) but been on plan other than that. I also had two large mugs of green tea right before my WI which was a bad idea but CDC was 45mins late and I was sooo hungry but didn't want dins before WI so I went for green tea....

Honestly I'm amazed at even a 0.25lbs loss after last couple of weeks. So here it is- all functions and social events out the way. 2.5 weeks 100% who is with me?!

I'm with you! I'm trying to be 100% until next Sunday when I get weighed. CDC is away this weekend so I have 2 weeks between my wi's
