Never actually got round to starting a diary when I first found this board, so the first week of conso seems like as good a time as ever.
Actually conso is a bit strange - I keep reminding myself that I am still following a diet, and that this stage is really just "cruise with extras" not a free-for all.
So to start with I've just added in the daily changes - 1 extra tblsp of oatbran, a small piece of cheese (bliss) and two small slices of wholemeal bread.
(And the biscuit recipe came just in time to allow for black pepper crackers with cheese! - I feel so decadent.
The rest is business as usual, with a beady eye on the scales, in case I see them sliding upwards.
I'm keeping my galas in cautious reserve - not as free-for-alls, but as ways of dealing with social eating.
I may be over cautious - but I know how easy it would be to relax and start eating "normally", rather than reinforcing the changes I've made so far.
