I would agree with having the full daily allowance - at least that way, if weight loss slows there is leway to cut back.

Dieting is trial & error - definitely - plus I do think tastes change also - I have a sweet tooth but since I have been following plan for 3 weeks now I think that may have changed - I bought some of the ww carrot cakes - omg - lovely but soooooooo sweet - it;s kinda scary & nice at the same time.

You could always try the Tesco ones.. they're in the fridge pizza section, small pizzas... 3 for something usually. The ham and cheese and the cheese ones are 3.5 points, the pepperoni is 4.5 (I think).

Or make your own with pitta breads or french stick.. tomato purée is free and then just point the toppings :)

Monday was a pretty good day-was barely a noise from the ole tummy tum which is brill :D

Monday's menu:
B:- 50g Bran Flakes with 1/4 pint skimmed milk 3pts
L:- Ham and egg salad with 115g baked beans 4.5pts
Mullerlight snack pot 1pt
D:- Asda Good For You Chicken Sizzler with Uncle Bens' Pilau rice (the sizzler was nowt to write home about, won't be having that again in a hurry!) 6pts

Snacks:-
Asda fruit snack bag 0.5pts
Light CHoices soup in a mug 0.5 pts
x2 clementines 0.5pts
Alpen Light bar 1pt

17/18 Points and some exercise points earned from the Biigest Loser dvd. Whoop!

Yesterday was payday-and I was terrified I was going to fall off the wagon! My usual payday menu consists of a greasy brekkie from the local takeaway, KFC for lunch and an uber greasy pizza with a LOT of beer for tea. And I almost cracked yesterday-I was absolutely starving! But I didn't. I had 2 packets of crisps and 2 cans of Diet Coke, but I stayed within my points so I shouldn't really beat myself up about it too much.

Yesterday's Menu:
B:- x2 Tesco pancakes with 100g raspberries, 150g strawberries and a Light Choices chocolate mousse 4pts
L:- Chicken and potato salad 2.5pts
Snack a jacks 1.5pts
Alpen Light bar 1pt
D:- Asda GFY Jacket potato with cheese&chive, 115g baked beans 4.5
Muller light snack pot 1pt

Snacks:
Mullerlight snack pot 1pt
x2 clementines&1 apple 1pt
Small bag Walkers French Fries 1pt

17.5/18 pts

The payday pitfalls didn't get me. Yay!!! :D

I’m having serious problems with my laptop at the minute-it’s having a detrimental effect on my diary reading-and writing! So I’ll start with my menus!

Wednesday’s menu:

L:- Asda jacket potato with cheese & chive, 115g baked beans 4.5pts
1 bag of snack a jacks 1.5pts
D:- 1 can Light Choices Tomato soup 3pts
4 dark rye ryvita with 2 tblsps extra light Philadelphia 3.5pts

Snacks:
1 Alpen Light bar 1pt
x2 Clementines & 1 fruit snack bag 1pt
1 strawberry Mullerlight 1pt

18.5 points (I have 1.5pts left over from the last few days so I don’t feel too guilty!)

Today’s Menu:

B:- 50g Bran Flakes with ¼ pint skimmed milk 3pts
L:- Light Choices vegetable curry 5pts
WW strawberry yogurt & 1 bag of snack a jacks 2pts
D:- 4 dark rye ryvita with 2 tblsps extra light Philadelphia 3.5pts
Peach Mullerlight 1pt
Light Choices chocolate mousse 1.5pts

Snacks:
2 apples 1pt
Alpen Light bar 1pt
WW raspberry yogurt 0.5pts

18.5 points (again using my leftover points from previous days)


Been a bit peeved today, got very little sleep thanks to my mum and sister keeping me up until 2am-I had to get up at 6.30! Not a happy bunny at all. :mad: I’ve discovered that I tend to eat a LOT more when I’m at work. I figured out today that it’s basically down to boredom. If I’m bored at home I can read a book or go for a walk or take a nap if I so desire, but at work when I’m bored there’s not really anything I can do, so I snack. I need to snap out of that-or at least start bringing zero points snacks with me. I’m getting a bit fed up of getting to tea time and not having many points left. Actually I’m just getting kind of fed up with this dieting lark already-and it’s not even been 2 full weeks! I’ll hopefully feel a bit more positive once I’ve had a bit more sleep! :nightf:

i hope you can get yourself motivated and enjoying the diet again, its hard when real life kicks in, or your day doesn't go to plan, but we can do this

Oh dear this 2 week point is the usual critical one as you do fine in week 1 then get a bit fed up with restricting yourself. So lets help you through and onto the downward path again.

Well I didn't crack this week, but I haven't enjoyed the diet either :(
Weigh in day today-I lost 1.5lbs this week. I'll admit I'm slightly disappointed, I had hoped to get my silver seven, but 6lbs in 2 weeks is still pretty good right?
 
Well done my love 6lbs in 2 weeks is fab! If you keep at that rate you'll be at goal in no time :D so keep up the good work x x x

I've only done 6.5lb in 3 weeks - I'm ok with that though, its far more than it would have been had I not have joined WW..................

Definitely-I'd be AT LEAST 6lbs heavier had I not joined WW. Took the first step towards how I want to look at goal today by having a tester session to have my stomach tattoo removed. It was actually pretty painless so I'm definitely going to trat myself to a tatt free, and apparently scar free, and FLAT tummy over the next few months!

Got dragged to the pub by the lads today and I'm pretty pleased with myself-drank only diet coke with oodles of ice and slices of lemon and lime, and had Wetherspoons spicy tomato pasta. It's not in the Eating OUt guide as it's a new dish, but it's basically pasta arribiata which is around 5.5 or 6 points apparently. I didn't miss not drinking booze which I'm pleased with. Oh, and my cute bartender had noticed that I hadn't been in for a few weeks, interesting.... :p

Well I DID get him told off by his manager, and he told me off for not remembering his birthday this week-I don't remember him telling me it was his birthday! I'm thinking I shall text him and offer to buy him a belated birthday drink during the week. :D
