Poor Gem! Because the thread has been moved out of the main forum I didn't see that you had posted. Just glad that Hayley was around for you when you needed a boost.
Now you listen here. First of all DO NOT WORRY about the blimmin turkey. As a long-term 810/SS Pluser I can assure you that is not why you only lost a l lb this week. Leave a little bit off tomorrow if it makes you feel better, and find a lovely cat who will enjoy it, but I would really say, eat it. You need the protein for your exercise class. It is feeding your muscles. Our bodies cannot store protein, and although there is protein in the packs, really we can't get enough of it. It won't put you out of ketosis and it certainly will not affect your weight losses! I will work out the cooked weights for you, for your next AAMW.
There is no logical reason why you only lost 1 lb. Any more than why you lose 4 or 5 lbs in other weeks. According to my brainy sister, based on the cals we are consuming, we can only ever lose 3lbs of fat in one week. The rest is dictated by water fluctuations. Lack of water in your system when you have a great weight loss can just as easily be affected the other way too. The great thing about the water bit is that it fluctuates and swings wildly. It is why people suddenly lose or gain weight overnight sometimes. The monthly overview is probably more realistic. How do you know your CDC didn't move the scales around during the week? It probably was 2lbs but just didn't show because it was just under. Forget it and look forward to next week.
And you know very well that in the long run you will lose more weight for sticking 100% to the plan. Cheating, treating or lapsing is a very slippery slope and will always end in tears. Your body is not stupid, it is a very complex piece of kit. You are a great inspiration because you don't cheat, and for that reason I am watching you closely because I know you are going to be one of the big successes on this site.
And finally. Look in the mirror at every opportunity and laugh at those rolls of fat you see because their days are numbered! How are you ever going to be able to see the difference in your weight loss if you don't look at them? Take loads of photos because one day you won't be able to remember what the fat rolls even looked like. Your mind will block them out. You need the reminder as you are going to have slim pics for the rest of your life soon!
Still not sorted? You deserve a medal for another week of sticking 100% to CD, don't beat yourself up over a set of lousy scales!
