The Wii Fit Weekly Challenge

I have done a total of an hour this week. Was hoping to do more but took it easy as I have a duathlon race to do tomorrow, which means I may have trouble even walking on monday!!!!!!!!!
 
Best of luck with the race! You won't need Wii fit if you're gonna be out doing exercise :)

Also mine told me I'd put on 8lbs when I went on later one day. All I'd had was a chicken salad a yogurt and an alpen light bar haha! Then again it told my brother he was as athletic as a 50 year old cause he couldn't stop jiffling! Poor bloke is only 27.

theres a lot of punching and arm stuff which is good for me! it does circuits of 8 mins which u do 3 times plus a warm up which is 6 mins and a warm down 8 mins? of stretches

thats the beginner one anyway
im doing a 4 week challenge so will prob go up a level after that!

What's that biggest loser one like?

I'd REALLY recommend the biggest loser game. The work outs are a lot more intense cardio wise! They have lots of pre made routines you can do (e.g 15, 20, 25, 20 mins light, 15, 20, 25 mins moderate etc.). Which is great if your watching the time! It also schedules work outs for you, which you dont have to do if your busy. It marks down when you do extra activity, like if you do one of the set work out routines. Its got lots of different work outs, in a week it will schedule for me anyway 1 cardio, 1 yoga, 1 muscle work out.

It's scheduled a 51 minute intense work out for me tonight though?! *gulp*
I should be able to do it I do 1hr long work out classes but thats because your in a class and you have 2, it wouldnt be embarrasing to just turn off biggest loser lol! Still though hopefully I will get through it!

ps. I previously said the wii fit wasnt good cardio wise, while I still thing Biggest Loser is better for cardio, I discovered the step plus last night that is LOADS of fun and gets you very warm! I think I could have got into a sweat but I was just mucking around on it before bed so I had to prise myself away from it! x

philly i love the step plus! i wish it was longer than 5 mins
i usually end up doing 20mins worth on it then the 10mins hula hoop
 
I do step plus for about 20 minutes, it gives you different time allowances by the way!

Also been having a go at Just Dance which gets you nice and warm haha :)

How do u do that? the usual bit where u increase the time on mine the plus sign is grey?

Also on the biggest loser note i appear to have used stomach muscles not used in years lol! tad sore! I got mine for a tenner online

Oh I think it unlocks once you've scored so much I might be wrong, I know you can definitely do that long on free step and I do that at fastest speed and just switch my tv channel to a music channel and choose my own steps. Will probably invest in The Biggest Loser when I've had the other games for a wee while.
 
I got mine for a tenner online to! and yeh it really does work muscles you forget existed! and it says im lighter than the wii fit does! ;)

i'll have a go on free step i havent tried it yet! x
