Hey

:cry:I'm heavier than ever , have lost all confidence and basically feeling really bad. I'm thinking of joining class tonight but i'm really nervous, i don't like attention. Before when i've been to groups i just go for the weigh in and leave, but if i join this time i want to do it right and stay to image therapy every week and give it 100%. I've emailed my o/h at work to see if he wants to join with me. I'd feel much better if he came with me, though he prob won't want to as money is tight at the moment with xmas coming up and stuff. xx

I'd say go for it too. Do you know what the class you're planning to go to is like? Big? Small? Busy? I'm on my second class now since I had to find one which I was really comfortable at.

No one there is going to judge you. They're all either in the same position as you or they have been and are examples of how you can get the weight off x

Hey I decided to join group and I have really acute anxiety, especially waiting around. But it is the best thing I have done and everyone is really nice. Just sit at the back if your nervous but it has really helped with motivation :)

thanks everyone, hubby has decided to join with me :) so happy about that. Still worried about speaking out, just because my confidence is at an all time low xx

I'm glad you're going:) The first step is the hardest. It took me about 4 weeks from deciding to go, to actually going. I HATE going to places like that and not knowing anyone etc.... But I forced myself to go, and it was the best decision I ever made. My confidence has soured THROUGH going to class, and I like everyone there. I'm sure once you've been going a while you'll wonder what you worried for.

Good luck xx

Delighted that hubby is going with you. I'm sure it will be much better than you expect.

You have taken the really difficult first step of deciding to go and do something about it. Stick with it and it won't be long before your confidence will start to improve when you see the results.

Good luck. x

Thanks, well class was good, didn't get a chance to speak to many people though due to new member chat and stuff but i enjoyed being there. On day 2 of plan, which is a big success for me as i never normally get through one day. Think the key is to be organised. I have been going to college with loads of fruit, and luckily the canteen sells jacket potatoes and mullerlights. Trying to limit my syns this week so i can have a couple glasses of wine and some crisps for the xfactor on sat night xx

Brilliant. Well done. Hope you meet lots of nice inspiring people who understand the good and the bad that you will go through.

I totally agree that the key is being organised. I have had to completely rethink the way I prepare and choose food but it's working for me.

Good luck and keep us posted.

well i have wi tomorow night, i'm so proud of myself, i've been 100% all week and it is the first time i have been able to stay on track, normally i ddon't last a day. I think it is knowing i'm going to class and want to have a good loss. And i have never been hungry all week, i've been eating loads and i feel great! x
