Hi all. :wavey: I am thinking of getting Dukan book but I am wondering how the low carb and low fat works?

Used calculator on the site and it says my 'true weight' is 12st 2lb. I dont know how they work that out but it sounds pretty realistic, certainly more so than my 'ideal' weight.

    Hi Lynn and welcome,

Check out our FAQ thread for more info...

"True weight" is indeed more realistic than aiming for a weight we once weighed 20 odd years ago. The questions re your diet history, family history, etc. give a far more accurate weight at which you stand a chance of stabilising afterwards.

    Welcome!

Go for it I can say I'm honestly loving it thought I'd struggle as I love fruit but from my losses on this diet I can see fruit was causing a lot of my gains on other diets x

I'd definitely recommend buying the book for a comprehensive understanding of this way of eating. It defiinitely works and you feel good on it too!
