    Hi Everyone

I'm Kate. I'm restarting Exante tomorrow for the third time. I lost over two stone on the diet last year - I didn't get to goal, but felt loads better....and now quite a bit of weight has crept back on. I tried starting for a second time a few weeks ago and lasted only a few days :(. My clothes are tight, I feel very down about myself, and I need to get the weight off again. I've given myself a firm talking to, ordered some more products and am committed to starting again tomorrow. When I lost the weight last year I swore I would never see the 13 stone mark again.....and here we are. I'm so disappointed with myself.

I know this sounds a bit strange, but I feel I'm quite successful in other areas of my life - amazing family, brilliant job, etc. but I just can't control my weight. I want to be the best version of me that I can be.....and I'm far from it at the moment.

The other times I've dieted I've not kept a I'm going to try it out. I'm going to try and use it as a way of holding myself accountable. Perhaps if I put my commitments down in writing they will be easier to achieve, and perhaps if I put my fears down in writing they will be easier to overcome too.

I've never been slim - I literally cannot imagine what I will look like at goal. And that feels a bit scary at the moment.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me rambling on. :)

Hi Kate, welcome! Good luck with your first day tomorrow :)

You did the right thing starting a diary, I started one a few days ago and it really has helped me just being able to write down everything I feel and look back on my good days when I feel down!

Will look forward to catching up with how you get on this week!

Thanks to Becky and Marge for posting - lovely to hear from you both. Hope you've both had good days :)

Day 1 nearly done for me. I has a chocolate shake and go thing for breakfast a bar for lunch and carbonara for dinner....not exactly gourmet but never mind!! Survived ok - lots of temptations though. People around me eating at work, feeding kids and husband's hard!! I'm trying to keep myself busy this evening with some housework (yawn) and some admin bits and bobs. About now I would usually be pouring myself a glass of wine....oops! Hope everyone else is doing ok too. Kate x

Hi Kate, you will find that keeping a diary will help you stay on track & get an insight as to where you are likely to fall off the wagon. Come on here regularly, there are quite a few of us that know what you are experiencing. There are lots of informative diaries & all the support you need.

Well done on getting through day one x

    Hello All

I'm still here (just). It was a bit of a rocky first week in the end, but I've managed to lose 4lb. I cheated slightly with bits and bobs throughout the week, which isn't brilliant. I don't feel like I'm in ketosis yet, but I had a good weekend diet wise so I'm hoping that tomorrow I might be back in the zone.

I don't know what I sabotage myself with the "picking" at food and cheating. I don't sit down to a meal as such, but I graze when I'm home in the evening - a bite of my toddlers toast, or a slice of cheese....finishing off mash potato from the pan etc. - disaster!!:sigh: I want this so much, but for some reason I just find it hard to commit. I need to figure out why....

Hope you 've all had good weeks and have stronger willpower than me!! :)

You already know what toast, cheese and mashed potato taste like :)
You will never feel what 10st feels like again, if you keep eating the stuff you already know the taste of ;)
Take one day at a time. Even one hour at a time !
Find distractions at night, instead of eating. Join the days up, and you will get there :)
