Had a good night, we had our meal and a tutorial on blackjack & roulette tables. Got a £5 chip included with the price and my friend gave me hers. I won a few chips back but ended up losing it all on roulette. Was amazed by the regulars putting large bets on. Was a good night, first time at a casino :)

Well, I've had an evening off and I'm back on plan :) I really enjoyed the food last night, was lovely, but I'm glad to be back on plan, back to normal!

I've not really planned out my meals yet today so I'll see what I buy at aldi:) hoping to pick up some pork shoulder at a reasonable price there to make bbq pulled pork. It seems to have shot up in price recently!

Anyway, enough rambling....food!

Breakfast- porridge, banana, large cup of tea (hea & b)

So we went to aldi and I bought loads and loads of superfree! Also got some microwave salmon fillets which are free and very nice. Got a chicken for tonight's dinner which is happily cooking in the slow cooker. We'll have it as a roast dinner today and it'll be transformed into curry tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm on a 12 hour shift so will be ready in 20 mins.

Lunch- thai red curry salmon infusions fillets with salad. Free! Syn free so far :)

Dinner- slow cooked chicken, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, gravy (1 syn), actifry roasties (2.5)
Syns so far =3.5

Supper- mixed berries with a muller, meringue nest (2.5) and 1 tbs choc shot (2) m&s chocolate & pecan popcorn (6.5)

Total=14.5

Your night sounded amazing! I've never been to a casino. Well done for getting straight back on it!
Maybe everyone has the same idea about the pulled pork, it seems really popular all of a sudden, I wouldn't know where to start with it!
Have a great day!

It was a good night:)

The pulled pork is really easy. The hardest bit is cutting all the fat off the pork which is a bit of a faff. Worth it though. Do you have a slow cooker?

No I don't :( I have so many things I'm saving for, for the kitchen haha

I'm sure you can probably make it in the oven in a closed casserole dish on low. Have a Google :) my favourite kitchen gadgets are the actifry and slow cooker. I use them a lot. I have a steamer as well but that only really gets used when we have my parents over for dinner to cook all the veg at once.

I'm saving for a Flavour Chef at the moment! I have a soup maker for the winter but that's all I've got, my mum has a kitchen aid bowl blender thing that's quite handy. I'll have a google! It sounds delicious and everyone's having it, I feel left out.

What's a flavour chef? I saw an automatic soup maker in tesco the other day. Morphy Richards I think. I was quite intrigued.

Flavour chefs a glorified George Forman but you can cook entire roast dinners and stuff so it's good if there's only 1 or 2 of you. It's totally none stick so you don't have to use oil or anything as well.
I've not had a chance to use my soup maker yet, you just throw in everything you want in a soup, set it to smooth, chunky or in between and set timer and it does it all for you, looking forward to using it this autumn!

I love soup, the sw soup book has some lovely recipes in it.

Today was a 12 hr shift and I'm suitably tired and waiting for my tea to cook. I refuse to eat it at work. I like a nice evening meal with my husband even though it is pretty much bedtime.

Tomorrow my little girl and I will be going strawberry picking (if it doesn't rain!). I've never done it before, we are both very excited!

On to the food...
Breakfast- porridge and banana

Lunch- mug shot, muller, apple, 2 satsumas

Snack- small snack size punnet of grapes, popcorn (4)

Tea/supper- actifry chips (3), steam bag of veg, infusions salmon fillets.

Total =7

Day off today and hopefully strawberry picking this afternoon! Bit grumpy & hormonal today, really hoping it passes. I'm even annoying myself!

Breakfast- big bowl of fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries). Hifi bar.

Lunch- infusions salmon, small baked potato, salad, babybel (3)

Dinner- peanut butter curry (4.5) & pilau rice

didn't feel like supper today. Put a curly wurly in the freezer & it's still there!

Total syns=7.5

Lol, I'm calm at present! We had a great time. It started raining and I was a bit worried about how much it was going to rain as my little girl was really really excited about going. Decided to just get the rain coats on and go! We got 2 punnets. They are twice the size of supermarket ones and piled high. Best get eating! Trying to up my super free for 2 reasons- firstly to boost my losses, but also to try and boost my immune system. This year I've had 6 colds already which I don't think is right. It does help that I really genuinely enjoy fresh fruit & veg :)

It's that time of the week again! Hoping for a good result:) weigh in at 7.30.

Today is a green day

Breakfast- 2 weetabix with milk & a banana.

Lunch- cheese, ham & leek pasta n sauce (1), small snack size punnet of grapes, a few hand picked strawberries :)

Weigh in- 1/2lb off. scales were hovering over a 1lb loss so can't be far off the next half pound. I'm happy with it, 2 cheat meals last week and I still lost. 3.5lbs till my next award! 2 hifi lights at group and a few taster quiches and a bit of cous cous. So less than half a syn for the cous cous so I'm counting that as free.

Dinner- actifry chips (1.5), lm sausages, mixed veg steam pack

Treat- champagne magnum (13)

Total syns=15.5

Decided to do a few green days to mix things up a bit a hopefully improve my weight loss this week.

So today is green

Breakfast- porridge, banana

Break- hifi

Lunch- mug shot, apple, 2 satsumas

Dinner- actifry chips, 40g hea cheese, lm sausages & tinned spaghetti. I used the fine grater and sprinkled the cheese over my chips with a sprinkling of nandos peri peri salt on top. Using the fine grater gives the illusion of a lot more cheese, it melts faster too! Really nice tea!

Supper- magnum (13.5) & cherries

Total= 15

Treat- 40g Aldi chocolate buttons (11)

Total=13.5

Not sure what's up with me today. Feeling pretty down, I think it's partly because I'm working the whole weekend and obviously I don't want to! Also I'm feeling a bit down about still feeling bigger than I'm comfortable with. I've just got to keep pushing on and stick to plan. I think I've reached a turning point in some ways as I now know that I was using food as an emotional crutch. I think it's really important that I've worked this out. I just need to keep going and work towards my goals. My next big goal is to be happy wearing a swimming costume in front of my friends when I go on a spa break in sept. I think I worked out I have 12 weigh ins till then.

Hope it went well!!

I managed to delete my last post back to you and now my days are mixed up. Oh dear! That'll teach me for posting and talking at the same time!!

Pleased with my half off anyway, and I'm 3.5 lb away from the next award so we shall see what happens this week!
