Well I finally after trying many times have managed to get over that first difficult week and get myself into ketosis. I'm feeling great and have zero appetite. I have a holiday in 4 weeks and will take a break for it. I will not be able to keep myself in ketosis as I will be having a few beers, well more than a few. It has been a long grey winter and I'm enjoying my holiday. I'll get back to it when I get back home. I was hoping to keep myself in ketosis by drinking spirits without mixers and the odd dry white wine but I'm a bloke and whilst I can drink whiskey in the evening I will not be able to during the day. I'll have done 7 weeks by then so it will not do a lot of damage weight wise although going back on beer will definitely effect my mental state and the first week will be a killer again but I'll do it.
