ticker bmi?

I used a calculater on the computer to see how many pounds i weigh, I put 9.6 times 14 and put 134.4 in the ticker and it came up with my bmi being 23 but when I did this on the wii fit it came up with bmi as being 22 and this was an evening weigh in, so just wonderd if im doing something wrong on the ticker, I've now made the ticker say 22 by putting in a false number!

Hi Georgie,

9st 6 lbs is actually (9 x 14) + 6 lbs = 132 lbs

BMI formula is: [weight (lb) / [height (in)]^2] x 703 conversion factor

Your height in Inches is (5 x 12) + 4 inches = 64 inches

Your BMI is: [132 / (64)^2] x 703 = 22.7
