Tinyshoes diary - countdown to wedding dress fitting!

Monday 8th June - back to the counting today - I'm trying to relax with the counting a bit at weekends so that when I'm ready to maintain I should sort of have the hang of not eating too much without counting....

Breakfast:
50g Granola with 100ml ss milk 4

Snack:
WW black forest bar 1.5

Lunch:
2 x ryvita with 30g x light Phili 1.5

WW vegetable soup 2
WW cheese puffs 1
Snack:
Snack drifter 2

Dinner:
Sharwood's Bhuna sauce 2.5
Chicken 2
WW mini naan 1.5
1/2 sachet rice 2

Snacks (this is where it all went wrong!):
Flamin hot wotsits 1.5
Kids Dairy Milk bar 2.5
WW caramel shortcake 2.5
WW black forest bar 1.5

Exercise:
None, other than my jaw, eating all those snacks....arrrrrgggghhhh!!! Really messed up today - wasn't particularly hungry just HAD to keep eating!!

Drink:
1 x decaf coffee
2 x normal coffee (needed caffeine so drowsy today!)
3 x NAS squash
1 x diet Dandelion & Burdock (reminds me of being a kid!!)
1 x tea

Tuesday 9th June - well after a disastrous day yesterday I can only hope I at least stick to my points today! Hope I haven't lost my motivation again, I felt much better last week but not so positive this week again......

Breakfast:
30g Tesco LC bran flakes with 125ml ss milk 2.5
Small kids banana 1

Snack:
WW peanut choc & raisin bar 1.5

Lunch:
Ryvita Mini's sweet chilli 1.5
2 x sesame ryvita 1

Wednesday 10th June - much better day yesterday, under points and did some exercise too. See if I can have another good one today......

No exercise today but under points so not too bad!

Total points used today: 16.5/19 - had loads of points left after Dinner but wasn't hungry enough to eat them all and didn't see the point in snacking for the sake of it! Anyway after Monday's 'binge' I need to save as many as I can to make up for it!

Thursday 11th June - still feeling a bit tired this week but after Monday's slip-up my head seems to be back in 'the zone' for now...

Breakfast:
Oatsosimple Golden Syrup with 50ml ss milk/100ml water 2.5
2nd breakfast at work: Peach & Apricot yoghurt 1

Snack:
Small bag iced gems 1.5

Lunch:
2 x white bread with 1 slice ham 2.5

Dinner (quick 'kiddy' tea tonight!):

1/3 tin baked beans 1.5

Exercise:
No time tonight - went to see a friend with all good intentions of coming back early enough to get some exercise in, but ended up staying late!

Friday 12th June - WI lost 0.5lb! Was hoping for more but realistically I couldn't really expect more, had meal out last Thursday night which wouldn't have had time to show last Friday's WI, ok weekend slightly over points then Monday had a huge slip-up so I guess I should be pleased I've lost anything! Going for a meal tonight but after that I'm going to try and stay on plan all week....aiming for 1 lb loss....

Breakfast:
40g granola with WW rasp tart yoghurt 4

Snack:
Small bag iced gems 1.5

Lunch:
4 x sesame ryvita 2 1/2 tub Tesco LC cottage cheese 2
WW cheese puffs 1

Snack:

12.5 points used so far...

Dinner:
Had lasagne and chips no idea of points but I only ate half of the lasagne so it could have been worse! No starter or pudding.

Drink:
2 x decaf coffee
4 x NAS squash
1 x diet cherryade

Exercise:
None, felt so so tired when I got home from work, I couldn't even really be bothered to go out for a meal but made the effort!

Total points used today: 12.5 plus meal out

This weekend didn't go too well food-wise, haven't felt very well really, a bit weak and tired have felt like it most of the week on and off, don't know if I've picked a bit of virus up or something....trouble is I didn't feel particularly hungry but thought I should eat to try and get rid of the weak feeling, but ended up overeating or eating the wrong things!

Saturday

Breakfast: 40g Almond Oats & More with 100ml ss milk 4

Lunch: White bread bun 2 with Phili x light 0.5 walker's sun bites 2 WW peanut choc & raisin bar 1.5

Dinner: Birds Eye hot & spicy chicken 4 half pack Batchelor's Beef savoury rice 3 garden peas 0.5

Sunday (felt a little better):

Snack: small rasp ripple ice cream in cornet 4?

Dinner: WW spring onion mash 2 broccoli, carrots 0 two bites of a Quorn lamb grill 0.5 (nasty nasty thing!! I hate lamb but thought coz this wasn't meat it would be ok, but it tasted like washing up liquid or some kind of cleaning fluid - not that I've ever eaten either of those haha! Think they had 'seasoned' it with mint but it was awful!)

Around 23 points used today, good job I didn't like the lamb thing it saved me a couple of points!
 
Monday 15th June - couldn't sleep last night think it's coz of the Lambrini I only had 2 glasses but could really tell! haha I'm such a lightweight, I was wide awake after it though I'll have to remember in future one glass = sleep, two glasses = no sleep! So bit tired today but think I'm generally feeling better than I have done recently....

Breakfast:

2 hours ironing! Not exactly exercise, but not couch potatoey either haha!

2 x NAS squash
1 x diet cherryade
1 x diet cherry coke

Total points used today: 20.5/19 - was wondering whether I should go down to 18 now (I know sticking to 19 would be a great start :eek:) as I'm only 2lbs away from the next stone down....plus I always overeat points at weekends! I'll see how I feel throughout today, if I feel 'normal' again I might drop a point a day from tomorrow....

Exercise:
43 mins on Wii Fit - 20 mins step aerobics, 10 mins hula hoop, 13 mins balance games.

Total points used today: 21/19 - big oops! Could have been much worse though, was ok til h2b got the crackers and cheese out! Only had the one though so I was quite restrained! Guess I'm just looking at a sts this week which isn't too bad at this point, I don't know how realistic my goal weight is for me, I am currently half a pound away from the lowest weight I got to last time I did WW (which was 4 yrs ago) so another 9.5lbs may be asking too much...I will keep trying though when my head is in the right place...which won't be next week as I'm off work all week so will be eating out more than usual.....I STILL DON'T LOOK GREAT IN A BIKINI I MUST REMEMBER THAT!!! 2 months til dress fitting, 4 months til honeymoon!

Thursday 18th June - Had another slight slip-up last night although I didn't go completely off the rails I was 2 points over which wouldn't be bad if I was trying to maintain! I did manage to stay almost in control though...:eek:

Sugar free rasp jelly, 1/2 sachet WW strawb & cream dessert 1, Strawbs 0.5, small amount tip top squirty cream 1? this was lovely like a mini trifle, although I don't think the portion sizes of the WW dessert are very big, not too bad when added to other things, but on it's own there really would be no point going through the effort of making it only to have two spoonfuls, very disappointing but tasted nice.

Drink:
2 x decaf coffee
3 x NAS squash
1 x diet cherryade
1 x diet coke citrus

Exercise:
None went to future in-laws instead!

Total points used today: 21/19! Oops, again! Don't know what happened here, lost track of points somehow, thought I had stuck to 19...

Friday 19th June - WI - sts! I was expecting to anyway so no big shock. Not too worried about it at this stage either. I feel so much better having lost over a stone since Christmas (12.5lbs since starting WW), and people have really started noticing now which is nice! Apart from my h2b who thinks it's funny to say 'another stone and you will be spot on'. It's his way of saying I look better I think and he says it as a joke (apparently!) but sometimes I don't see the funny side of it (hormones eh?!). Anyway I told him when he is a stick insect I'll become one too haha that shut him up! :D Right looking ahead to next week, I am off work which is never good diet-wise so i am going to aim for a sts again and do my best to make good choices when we're out and about! I will try to keep my diary updated, good or bad :eek: wish me luck!

2nd breakfast (at work): WW lemon cheesecake yoghurt 1

Right, I am going to really make the effort tonight as am hoping if I do some form of exercise every day this week it will help me to sts for next WI even though I have the week off work! So it will either be half an hour walk/drag with the dog or 5km on cross trainer. Or if I'm feeling like it, maybe both!! :D

Total points used today: Have 19.5 or 20 planned so will try to stick to this, as the exercise will counteract the extra 0.5 or 1 point above my normal allowance.
 
ive just finished reading your diary, and i was just thinking maybe you should turn it into a book ,it reads like a comedy. i havent smiled and laughed so much in ages. youre honest and i think thats what people like to see. i see you also have a liking for crisps (thats one of my problems). i have several stones to lose and its coming of slowly ive just lost a total of 16 and a half pounds in 5 weeks so im keeping fingers crossed that it keeps coming of steadily. good luck with the wedding hope it all goes well.

Thanks, it's good to know someone reads it haha! I often wonder whether I'm just rambling on to myself and no-one else sees it. Yeah I do like crisps, and cakes, and chocolate and ice-cream :drool:....and have just had a week off work (and the diet it seems!! :eek:) so I am seriously back on it now. Only about 6 weeks or so until my dress fitting now, it's coming round so quickly! Well done on your weight loss you are doing fantastically, you put me to shame!! I MUST TRY HARDER, sorry, I'm shouting at myself not you! Keep up the hard work you are doing so well and thanks again for reading :D
 
you keep writing and i will keep reading plus it gives me ideas for meals. i did notice you go on the wii board i do wii active the dancing bit anyway its a laugh. i tend to walk each day with my mum as we are doing it together so if i walk i dont do wii fit but i dont use my exercise points anyway.keep up the good work and i hope your diet goes to plan

Ok, I'm back after a fantastic week off work and although I started out with good intentions of keeping my diary updated, good or bad, well it didn't happen! And I wasn't good either....on the plus side I didn't eat EVERYTHING in sight but I was fairly bad mainly with ice-cream as it was such a lovely hot week! Back to it now....managed to sts for WI on Fri so I think it will catch up with me this week so I guess it's just damage limitation for this week and try to sts again! :eek:

Monday 29th June

Breakfast:

Thursday 2nd July - I don't know why I'm bothering to keep a diary this week, I'm not sticking to my points or exercising! Think it's coz of hot hot weather, and having last week off I can't seem to get back into it! :banghead: Plus I'm away this weekend - Take That at Wembley woo hoo!!!! :happy036: - so I won't be keeping an accurate check of points although I'm not planning on eating lots of junk or anything, taking food with me for lunch, eating out at Dinner, then the morning after I'm taking breakfast with me too so shouldn't be TOO bad but will be over points slightly I would think. All the dancing :greenapple: and screaming at the concert might balance it out though :party0011:Can't wait! :party0049:Anyway back to the diary....

Friday 3rd July - WI - put on 0.5lb! :mad: Not great, but not bad considering I was bad at weekend and then I've not stuck to my points most days this week! On the up side - only 1 more sleep til TAKE THAT - woohoo!!! :happy036:
Will TRY to be good ish over weekend, then I am going to drop my points to 18 next week as I'm near the next stone bracket anyway....

WOW, what can I say?? I'm still amazed and in awe of the Take That concert I went to on Saturday night - FANTASTIC! What a show! :D

Food wise wasn't too bad over the weekend considering I was away, even did quite well at the buffet breakfast! Yesterday (Monday) I think I was a couple of points over, so I'm trying to get back to counting properly again today...
