    evening all,

i havent been off the toilet for 3 days. its really bad. i cant even break wind without going to the loo for fear of an 'accident' lol.

    but seriously...
the only thing i have changed since last tues is that ive been doing ss rather than ss+, ive been having a bar everyday as opposed to every other day, and i have been using the berry water flavour but only a tiny amount as i find it pretty strong.
ive always been led to believe that CD would make u go the opposite to this.
ive not been off the loo all evening and my tummy feels very dodgy. OH is away to the chinese and ive told him to bring me back an ommelette as im a bit scared and think i need to eat a bit of 'solid' food.

has anyone else had any of these experiences..???

    thanks in advance, xxx

    Hey hon

How many days is it since you've had your bowels open properly? I ask cos you could actually be constipated and having a bit of fluid easing past the blockage so to speak.. it's a side effect of being well bunged up and is called overflow constipation

As long as you don't have any other symptoms (like a fever etc) that might indicate a virus or something I'd suggest maybe taking something that gives you a gpod clear out (a laxative of some sort ... plus a stool softener so that you don't get too much discomfort) and see how that goes for you.

    Hey Gg.
I forgot to mention I'd been taking one movicol sachet a day from tues-thurs. I hadn't taken them for couple days as i went off plan last weekend till tues But apart from that weekend that had been the usual with me I have taken one a day the past couple weeks. But I stopped taking them on thurs when the runs started. but today has been the worst day so far. Ain't been off the loo. I don't feel sick or feverish or anything which is why I'm finding it hard to pin point a cause.

Oh and p.s. I went to the loo normally on tues an wed prob due to getting rid of weekend crap in my system

    ?????? Xx

In that case you may be one of the people who is a bit sensitive to the concentrated minerals in the packs....they advise splitting the packs into 6 smaller portions and drinking a glass of water before each one too dilute the effect to help it settle down and your stomach acclimatise.

i've had this a few times for the first 3 weeks i start ss. chronic poo problems and i can't get off the loo either. usually it's linked to when i've drank water. you can split the packs or ride it out for a few weeks. i quite liked it in that it gave me an amazing clearout and a good weight loss for the first few weeks.
