Too much water?

I've already drank over a litre of water since getting up at 7am and by the time I finish work it will probably be over 3lts
This is well over what they say to drink but my mouth is so dry I'm constantly sipping water so I can talk, I also drink from 500ml water with a sports cap so its quiite easy to swig.
Does anyone else drink more than what cambridge say? Do you think I should try for less?

Hi, I normally average about 4 litres a day. I'm the same as you. I'm always thirsty and my mouth is dry. As long as this is spread over the whole day and not in a short period of time you should be fine. Except the constant weeing lol. And they so say the more water the higher the loss.
