Unavoidable work lunches and dinners!!!

Hi everyone!


I hope everyone is doing well this week?!

Since starting the plan I have managed to avoid social occasions that require food, three weeks in and I now have a work lunch and a work dinner to attend both in the same day (next Thursday).

I am really really concerned, I can't cancel either of them so I need to think about going 'off plan'. I feel like I have been doing so well, my will power has gone from zero to pretty much 100% and I hope this doesn't break me.

Has anyone else had any unavoidable social occasions? If so how did you cope and did it throw you off plan or did you manage to fall right back in?

Can you check the menu to know what you can have? You could then plan what you are eating, get some protein and some veg or salad, no carb?
 
Your 3 weeks in so your body is defo in ketosis so your through the worst of it.

You still have to live your life and go for dinner etc, at the start I use never go out or make excuses when my friends or work colleague's would go for lunch/dinner I didn't want all the questions, as I didn't tell much people.

Every restaurant has a salad option get that for lunch or even a soup and then get chicken for dinner you will feel full and your still getting out and socialising.

I have the menu for the evening meal which is an Indian so I was going to have prawn or chicken tikka with no sauce and a salad. The lunch however I literally have no idea where we are going or what cuisine it will be. I think that is the main concern really.

It is good that I am getting out, it's just one of those annoying things that is bad timing! I am sure I will be fine though. I don't intend to let it be the end of all of the hard efforts that I have put in so far!

A few weeks ago I would have gone crazy for some lovely free meals, how things change!
