Jo I think I need the strictness of a diet plan - not just healthy eating. That was my problem with sw - the eat as much as you like concept with pasta just didnt work for me!
 
she is called natalie and it was her 18th birthday 2009 (jan) ,they where just getting to the point of starting a relationship when he fell ill which was march but before march was struggling with pain anyway he just pushed her away because he didnt want her to suffer the way he did ,and she is seeing one of his best mates and they told him before he died and he said he was happy for them both and they both and all his mates keep in touch with me !!
 
i know wot u mean vicks ,i also need a strictness in things to because i seem to get complacent and then i eat a load of rubbish !!
 
Jet- awh that's sad... very "kind" of him and glad they told him...

Vicky- I'm just the same... but, having kept my eye on the Atkins thread for quite a while and knowing that the same thing goes on over there, I personally am anti going in and out of ketosis endlessly having read negative things about ketosis. I can accept "using" it to lose weight... but abusing it sounds as if we'd be better off accepting the weight...

I don't know what the answer is... but weekdays on Dukan, weekends off, aren't it (surely?)

I operated a weekday healthy eating, Saturday one treat, Sunday free for all policy to stabilise... and it worked for a few years... then I quit smoking!!!

Im going to stick with this for now. See how I get on...my sticks are still light pink so still in ketosis. (checked at lunchtime)! Im gonna have a good hard think about things. BUT I really would like to get to goal with this and then with the 3rd phase you bring more carbs in like bread and fruit and cheese in.
 
thanks jo ,he knew she couldnt wait for him so he did the gentlemanly thing and let her go ,but at least they both knew dan and they can help eachother with their loss of him too !!

and jo i love reading ur posts u are very clued up women ,im quite good at the ww diet coz i did that for years but i got to complaceant(spelling) on it has not being able to stick to it !

i dont know about the sticks. i think you know if you going into ketosis. bad breath, tired.....
 
you should be in ketosis already if you have been good :D
 
i have just a few vodka's over weekend and OH was eating hotdogs and ice cream !! will power r wot !!
 
wow yey that is willpower!! at least you stuck to no carb vodka and not vino like me.

we do. even when i was at my lowest weight i still had fat legs. :(

I vote for Stepper... dinner and chill... perfect!!
 
oh no dinner first no matter what, cant eat later! as you know i try and have dinner before 6! galettes made (made 4yesterday for ease) just got dogs to feed and steak to cook :D

then ill have half hour rest and go on stepper :) or walk the dogs see how the fatty might-be pregnant one is first!
