Vic's JUDDD diary

Haha, I've never done CD, but I can only imagine how awful it is!
Enjoy your UD tomorrow, I know I will :D

Post Xmas weigh-in day:

Start weight - 10st 6.5lb
Week 1 weight - 10st 5.75 (- 0.75lb)
Week 2 weight - on holiday
Week 3 weight - 10st 3.5lb (- 3lb)
Week 4 weight - 10st 2.75lb (- 3.75lb)
Week 5 weight - 10st 3.75lb (-2.75lb)

So a pound on over Christmas but still almost 3lb off post-Cambridge. I am happy with that because I expect I was well over 3000 calories on each of my three Xmas ups.

I am up again today and down tomorrow before my Hogmanay ups. x

Super chuffed with myself. Just completed week 5, day 2 of c25k with a slight alteration.

I should have done:
5 min brisk walk; 8 min jog; 5 min walk; 8 min jog; 5 min walk

Instead, I did:
5 min brisk walk; 10 min jog; 3 min walk; 10 min jog; 3 min walk

Super pleased as I am totally bunged up and struggling to breathe properly. I am determined to do the 20 min, non-stop jog that is week 5, day 3 on NYE. I can do this! x

Yay that 1lb will be off before u know it :D!

Well done on c25k!! I've gave up on that lol I just can't do it! So big well done x

I hope so! It's the treadmill that kept me on the straight and narrow with c25k. I genuinely enjoy my sessions. Not sure I'll enjoy the one on NYE though ;) x

It does feel good when you run for longer than you ever thought possible. Really hope I can do the 20 mins tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Down day completed on 444 calories today. Now for Hogmanay and New Years Day ups and then normal JUDDDing can resume. x

Good luck!!
Well done on ur DD too, it's my DD tomorrow. I definitely need it after this weekend lol x

Well, that's it. Christmas and Hogmanay have been and gone. Time for a DDD to undo some damage. My body needs this and I will also go on the treadmill later, too. 2013 WILL be the year that I see the 9s :) x

I'm with you there! Good luck BB

Thanks ladies. C25k week 6, day 1 done. Living on sugar-free jelly until tea time when I'm having a salmon fillet with stir fry veggies and Slim Noodles. Yummy! x

Well done you did the 20 minutes! Its such a mental breakthrough. The first time I did it I wanted to cry! Well done for being so good with all these dd's during the festive period. I wish I could say the same!

Thanks. I was really proud of myself. It's definitely a mental rather than a physical hurdle. My body felt fine.

I managed to stick to my down days by planning them carefully to make sure I had all the ups I needed. Less than my usual up/down pattern but enough to keep me on track...I hope! x

Down day done with 520 calories :) Another down day tomorrow and, as I am back at work, it should be plain sailing. Weigh-in on Friday so I am hoping for a nice drop to get me back to around 10st 3lb which would mean very little change over Xmas. Fingers crossed! x

Ok so, upon checking my work diary, I see that I was wrong. Today is not a down day. It's an in-between day of 1250 calories and Friday is not my official weigh day, that's Saturday. Doh! It's a good job I keep a JUDDD planner I my diary. So far I have only had 9 calories worth of sugar-free jelly. Will keep it to around 250 cals whilst at work (seeing as I am already in that frame of mind) then I can have a mince pie and a nice, tasty dinner when I get home :) x

It was indeed. Won't be so nice tomorrow though, that's a DD and I thought it was an up! Never mind! Xmas has thrown my usual pattern out of the window.

Just need to get planning what to have for dinner now :) x

Just popping in to say hello :) Sounds like you've been doing brilliantly at keeping things in check over the festive period.
Hope you enjoy your mince pie tonight! (jealous) I'm on a run of three DDs at the moment - I know it's not advised but neither is consuming 4000 calories per day on new years eve and new years day! ;)
I can see where you're coming from about getting your routine/pattern back though - I've never been able to do true alternates because I started JUDD so close to Christmas, so I can't wait until Monday when all my socialising is done and I can give JUDD a proper chance to work its magic.
Weigh in day for me too on Saturday! Good luck with yours!
x

Oooh, you are doing a great job with you triple down day. Not sure I'd be able to manage one after Xmas and New Year (although I did briefly toy with the idea when I realised I'd mixed my days up today).

I absolutely love this way of eating. I don't care if it takes me a while to lose my last few pounds. If it's keeping my weight steady whilst allowing me to eat the foods that I love then it's definitely something I can do long term. If I can finally hit 9st 7lb - 9st 10lb with JUDDD then I will be a VERY happy bunny.

Good luck with your final down day and your Saturday weigh-in :) x
