Vic's JUDDD diary

Believe me, I still have a lot of flabby bits and excess skin from my many years of being overweight but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pleased to have a weight that is well within 'healthy'. Don't feel quite so slim this evening after pizza, cheesecake, wine and beer but not feeling guilty either. THIS is progress :) x
 
Excellent well done glad its working for you. Mmm pizza, and cheesecake........can you tell I'm on a dd :rolleyes:
 
It's 22.30pm, not long til your UD and then you can indulge too. The tiger loaf and peanut butter is not far away :) x
 
Wow, you are doing really great, well done on a great loss. Think I'm going to have a one off attempt at a double DD myself just before Xmas on the Fri/Sat as from the Sunday its looking a bit full on with Social Events so need a good deficit to take me into the 'eating period!

It was an up day for me today. Went round to a friend's house for afternoon tea and then to my auntie's for supper. Had a McDonald's milkshake on my way home too...purely for medical reasons as I have a stinking cold and have spent most of the day with no voice and a very sore throat. Reckon I am around 2500 calories today. Good news is, I had stuck at 10st 3.5lb on the scales this morning after my first up day :) x

Mmm I love Mcdz milkshakes. Yuck about the cold tho, I've just caught a cold from my cousins baby yesterday and I can't breathe through my nose at all now, so annoying!

Sorry you've got a cold too. Voice back today but feel rubbish. I'm not hungry which, as it's a down day, is a blessing. Just having lots of tea with skimmed milk. Weight increased this morning, not surprising after two big ups though. Today and tomorrow's downs will sort that out I'm sure.

Still snotty and giddy but feel better than yesterday. I had a very odd down day yesterday. Basically used all my calories on milk for tea, a mince pie and and egg on toast. Did the trick though because today's scales said..

That is me back at my lowest ever adult weight. Can't believe it. It just goes to show that a combo of JUDDD and blowing your nose constantly for 4 days means you can hit target weight whilst still eating mince pies and cheese. Who knew? :)

Anyway, was due to have another DD today but, due to an extra social event this week, it will now be an UD with Tuesday/Wednesday being a DDD instead.

Yowza! The scales were swinging this morning bit that's ok as I have a DDD to put it right. Had about 2100 cals on yesterday's up and enjoyed every single one...apart from Tesco's king prawn cocktail sandwich which was RUBBISH. x

You are doing an amazing job, I am having a rubbish month. Totally in awe of your dedication to the task!! I'm going for damage limmitation at the moment. If I can complete the month STS I will be very happy!!
 
Thanks Jilly. Not done quite so well today though. Think I was 650-700 calories rather than my usual 500. My husband wanted to go to Harvester for tea before we went to a concert.. I made healthy choices though (sea bass with green beans and some scrummy salad) so I'm not too worried. Tomorrow and Friday will both be up days :D Mmmm... x
 
After my slightly-too-up, down day I was back down to 10st 2.75lb :) A big up day yesterday. Out for afternoon tea with my mom and sister-in-law and then a cheese fest for supper with cheese and biscuits; baked Camembert with crusty bread and copious amounts of wine. Today the scales said:

I am starting to find my daily weigh stats are getting a bit lengthy for posting so will only show my weekly ones from now on. I say weekly but they will vary sometimes being after 6 days, sometimes after 9. Jut depends on what pattern I am following and what social events I have that week. Here it is so far:

Start weight - 10st 6.5lb
Week 1 weight - 10st 5.75 (- 0.75lb)
Week 2 weight - on holiday
Week 3 weight - 10st 3.5lb (- 3lb)
Week 4 weight - 10st 2.75lb (- 3.75lb)
Week 5 weigh day will be Saturday 29 December

I will still continue my daily weighs and keep a track of them on my app as I find them interesting and it keeps me focused. Loving the fact that I have averaged a loss of a pound per week since coming from Cambridge. Never thought it was possible with all the wonderful food I have eaten. JUDDD is amazing :)
