Breakfast; Porridge, banana, 350ml skimmed milk for drinks in the day (H ExA&B)

Lunch; Pasta, chopped up bacon, mushrooms, onion,passata, creme fraiche (1Syn) herbs. Tomato, green salad.
Slice lemon curd cous cous cake (1Syn)
Strawberries, sf jelly made with fat free yoghurt. (.5Syn)

Dinner; Savoury mince, Syn free chips
Activia snack pot, grapes.

Saturday 9th October

Lunch; Bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes. Vanilla ff yoghurt, nutella/rivita crumbs (1Syn)

Flapjack (to test - very yummy) (6.5Syn)

Dinner; Mince beef curry,(curry paste 1Syn) rice, ff nat yoghurt, salad.

Sunday 10th October

Still managing to keep under 10 Syns - will try to maintain for the rest of the week. A fair bit of walking today and yet more painting so stretching a bit too.

Dinner; Honey glazed pork fillets (1Syn), stirfry veg. Fruit salad, ff vanilla yoghurt, 1/2 slice sultana & syrup cous cous cake (1Syn)

Supper; 2 rivita (3Syn) quark, banana, activia yoghurt

Monday 11th October

Lunch; Egg salad, activia yoghurt, nectarine, Slice sultana cous cous cake (2Syns)

Dinner; Leek and bacon pasta with passata and creme fraiche (1.5Syns) Banana, nectarine, nat yoghurt.

Total Syns = 5.5

Just a bit of a walk in the sunshine for exercise - about 20 minutes

Tuesday 12th October

Writing this up early because I seem to have my head in gear at the moment and I know that I won't be adding extra nibbles during the evening. In fact I have managed a remarkably (for me) low syn week. I hope that the scales tomorrow reward me appropriately.

Dinner; Chili con carne with rice, ff nat yoghurt, roasted veg (cougette, onion, squash & parsnip). Fat free vanilla yoghurt with sprinkle of nutella/rivita mix (1Syn). Nectarine.

Wednesday 13th October

WI today saw a loss of 2lb, Very good, well pleased, but as I had really cut down on my Syns, I am experimenting this week by not being quite so strict and see what the outcome will be. Also I will try to maximise the super free foods. So here goes:

Lunch; Spicy veg soup. nectarine, slice of syrup sultana cous cous cake (2Syns)

Dinner; KFC chicken (2Syns for breadcrumbs) Stir fry mixed veg. Fat free vanilla yoghurt with nutella/rivita crumbs (1Syn)

Options half strength (1Syn) Activia yoghurt, I slice cous cous cake (2Syns)

Thursday 14th October

Saturday 16th October

A good day really apart from 4 little things

Breakfast; Porridge, banana, 350ml skimmed milk for drinks in the day (H Ex A&B)

Lunch; packed lunch of 2 slices wholemeal bread (6Syn)25g Light phili with sweet pepper(2Syns) tomato.3 laughing cow (4.5Syn) Banana, satsuma.

mid after noon came the undoing - succumbed to the hospitality trolly and had 3!!! shortcake biscuits (15Syn) and later on the journey home in horrendous traffic accepted a huge chunk of chocolate (7Syn)

Dinner; Pasta, Light phili (4Syn)smoked salmon, salad.
Yoghurt with nutella/rivita crumbs (1Syn)

So Grand total for today was 40.5
Plan B now using weekly total of 64 used, i will aim for 80 so 16 left for thee days.

Better day today. Feel in control again

The end of week 14. Nice to see my progress as the weight comes slowly down. Getting rid of baggy clothes out of the wardrobe now - I am determined not to put the weight back on again. I am sure that my eating pattern is now changed for good. I don't need to deprive myself of anything - just need to keep to this healthy habit at my norm. Hooray for SW!!

Week 15, Day 1
Hmmm. Very interesting. My little experiment of upping my Syn intake resulted in my STS this week.
I'll go back to plan A, I think, and just keep it low. Do we HAVE to have at least 5 per day? I'll aim for that anyway and try to keep between 5 and 10 and see how this week goes. I know that I need to up my exercise too so hopefully decorating another room will count there.

Wednesday 27th October

Week 16 Day 1

This week I managed to lose 1lb. I had hoped for a little more, especially as I sts last week. I must be doing something not quite right. I know that I am not exercising enough so perhaps I'll try to tackle that over the next week. Also, maybe too much fruit snacking. I will try for celery & carrot sticks instead. All in all, I am quite happy about it. 1lb loss is better than STS; STS is better than a gain. And my 1lb means that I have now lost 1.5 stone :D
And 10% of original weight :D:D
